"Developers don't seem to know anything about NX". Article then cites 2 of them. And no offense, but it's hardly Ubisoft or EA we're talking about here. Clickbait title if there ever was one....
I suppose there is no Digital Event at all, just Treehouse taking its place. Not sure how I feel about that. Then again, I am looking forward to finally seeing Zelda for real. How can that be disappointing? The only thing that would be is if you'd expect more than that. To be honest, I'm glad they're upfront about it ahead of time, instead of everyone nearly bursting at the seams from hype and excitement at E3 and only getting Zelda. Imagine that crapstorm. I think the internet would melt from the anger...
@Drumpler I suppose reading was a bit hard. I meant each IP to get their own (thus seperate) animated show, only (ONLY) to converge in a Smash Bros animated movie. It would not make sense for Samus to show up in Zelda, though to be fair, proper storytelling can go a long way. As can keeping an open mind while we're at it...
After I saw this, my best friend (who isn't really into Starfox) loved it and immediately wanted to go buy the game. I myself thought it was awesome. If only this became a proper series, not just that, but if more Nintendo IP could become an animated series, we could have them all converge in a giant Smash Bros. movie. If Marvel can do it with movies, Nintendo can pull it off with animated shows. A Nintendo Animated Universe if you will. I suppose Nintendo is fond of brand recognition, market penetration, happy fans and of course more money, so someone make this happen!
I love the GamePad, but yeah, it could've been put to better use. Some games (or minigames) just used it for the sake of using it. Personally I don't mind if the game just uses it as a map or inventory function - which in and of itself is already quite helpful - instead of developers doing nothing or something overly forced with it. But I expected more from Nintendo I suppose. However, if rumors are true that NX has another screen-controller (with a screen no bigger than Vita's), it seems like a more controller-like form factor - as in less XL sized - is in the cards and could be cheaper too.

We'll see.
