@PlywoodStick haha yeah. I do hope people will give these games a fair chance. In all honesty, Nintendo could not release a single game until next E3 and I would still have enough to play.
Nintendo had every right to take down Super Mario 64 HD. It's brand confusion. You know some people would see it on YouTube, think it was made by Nintendo and it really doesn't look like Nintendo quality. It's not something they want to be associated with and I completely understand that. If they do release a Super Mario 64 HD it will look 10 times better and it shouldn't be confused with fan projects.
As far as YouTube, all the problems stem from YouTube, not Nintendo. They wouldn't let Nintendo advertise on their own videos and are extremely greedy. The people who are doing it for money are not the YouTubers they want pushing their products anyway. Like in everything else, it's quality over quantity.
I'm sorry to anyone who judges this game based on reviews. Reviewers have never been able to properly review party games. The Bowser mode is the most fun I've had playing Mario Party since MP2 and you don't want to miss it. It only works as well as it does because joint movement car mechanic. I am a fan of moving separately too but when they use the car mechanic so perfectly as they do in Bowser Party, I would not want this game to be any different.
If you play a modern Mario platformer, or really most any modern platformer, they feel and play more like Super Mario World than Super Mario 3. In that way, I feel that World has actually influenced modern 2D platformers more.
Not only that you really can not undermine how big of an impact Yoshi has made on the gaming world. He is the most popular Mario and probably the second most recognizable behind Mario. He has had way more influence than anything from Mario 3.
