@nessisonett The "golden tile" goal to clear a level is a much more difficult task than simply "earn x many points before the time runs out", so it stands out a bit more than the other Match-3.
@Kilroy Exactly, short games can be great if you can go back and play through them. Unfortunately, not much happens after you get the throne. No new challenges, and the map stays the same.
@Windy The game definitely isn't bad, and the controls are tight on the Wii U. I agree that it would be more suited to the 3DS, though (especially since it's coming from the mobile scene where shorter games thrive).
@gcunit I was hesitant about it being a mobile game first, but it feels more like an arcade indie game than an iOS game. It's got enough polish and utilizes the controller well enough that it feels substantial.
@polarbear I only played with a GamePad, but the second screen was just a mirroring. I will have to double-check to see if it's compatible and get back to you.
@arronishere Have you checked out a trailer? I know graphics preferences can be personal, but seeing them in action is better than a still image. Especially in the later levels where there's a lot more going on.
@gblock If that was your first time being introduced to all 4 of those... Then you really had a great week. Nothing beats the first time you experience some of the greatest video games/movies.
@MikeW It really depends on what you're going for. I mentioned that Onimusha Tactics is stripped down in comparison to FFT (and TTFA by proxy). If you're looking for a fun/decent TRPG then Onimusha is pretty straightforward. FFTA has more rules and complexities to it.
Both are fun, though, so it's just a personal choice on how you want to play.
@Wiidsguy The music was pretty good, so I apologize for not mentioning it. One thing that I had an issue with was that the music reset upon death, so on some particularly hard levels I heard the first 10 seconds of the song over and over. That's just a game design issue, and nothing wrong with the music. As for my progress, I made it to World 3, unfortunately not the whole game completed.
@Virus The concept for the game is really fun, and although some of the levels are crazy hard, they're quite unique and some are quite clever. There are just too many bugs, small gripes, and of course the constant spinning, that really detract from the overall experience.
@Neko_Rukiafan I did mention several glitches, lack of visual polish, and an overly frustrating difficulty, however the nausea didn't seem to be isolated to just me. I had friends and family take a look at the trailer and the game itself, and it was a consensus across the board that the spinning camera made it difficult too play for too long.
@Hero-of-WiiU Who knows. I haven't tried out any Virtual Reality. If you check out the game trailer for this game (on this page) you can see the spinning camera that I mention makes me feel queasy.

Re: Review: Jewel Quest (Wii U eShop)
@MrPuzzlez yup, works with stylus. Doesn't actually take any button commands.

Re: Ten Hours of Maintenance on the Way for the Nintendo Network
It seems so silly that Nintendo hasn't yet implemented a back-end for their network that will reduce downtime for the user.

Re: Review: Tecmo Bowl (Wii U eShop / NES)
@spurgeonryan I do.
It has a much more arcade-y feel to it, and it's a blast to play with another person.
Re: Mario Memories: Super Mario Bros. 3, Still Bringing Families Together
@Gold_Ranger We usually do that for the first world. Constant battle after battle.
Then we decide we need to actually get stuff done (like clean up the Kingdom).

Re: Rumour: Mega Man Is Starring In A Mega Movie Thanks To The Help Of 20th Century Fox
I'm hoping they don't go the route of live-action. I think if it was animated in a style to the 2009 Astro Boy movie, we could be in for a treat.
