@jolteon23 I experienced exactly the same thing in our town, couldn't find a physical copy anywhere. As I had the cash I ended up having to buy an eshop voucher and download it digitally.
There is a hill to the south overlooking the Hinox with a couple of perfectly placed boulders ready for a nudging. Put a nice dent in his health for me.
In the water near this hill is a wooden raft which had a rusty weapon right next to it. With that, a nicely timed thunderstorm and some strategic weapon dropping he went down without too much trouble.
I find it fascinating hearing how others are finding all the different ways of tackling things in this game and the stories people are telling, I don't think i've ever been this drawn into a game like this before.
I can't confirm it but from what I have heard if you drop your gear and then pick it up again after the quest has started you will lose it all. When the quest finishes it takes everything you picked up o the island away from you before giving you your original gear back.
I'm getting significantly better performance in zelda whilst putting the switch in airplane mode whilst in handheld mode and then docking it. It wasn't unplayable before but it made me feel like I didn't want to play it on the big screen as every time I engaged in a fight the frames would drop considerably. Now I get the same performance as if I was playing in handheld mode. I'm much happier knowing it is a software issue that can be patched rather than a limitation of the switch hardware.
@MajorBen I accepted that hours ago, I'm just frustrated that we are getting no clear cut answers from anyone at Nintendo. If they would have just said we screwed up and you won't get your console till next week, I would be peeved to say the least, but at least i'd know whats going on
Just got a little something out of Royal Mail. Good news- whilst I was chatting to the representative I refreshed my Royal Mail tracking page and it now finds the parcel! Bad news is it's at their north west RDC and was only accepted at 18:21 this evening!!! They've got a long way to go to ensure I get it today, lol
Seems like I am one of a number that hasn't received their switch today. Got my email saying to expect it today, tracking number not recognised (yet it was dispatched last night) and had no luck with Nintendo via email or phone. Am just chatting to Royal Mail to see what they can tell me.
