Despite what I said about not getting my hopes up earlier today, I'd love to see UI revisions. Themes, folders, and an option to message & voice chat with friends would be terrific additions.
I think it'll be a good direct and I'll leave myself open to some surprises. Last February, we were treated to Splatoon 3 and that was pretty nice. I'm assuming the show's going to be 100% software only, so I won't get my hopes up for any improvements to the online service like party chat/messaging.
It's important to note that those who complain about NSO aren't just doing so because of its classic game streaming component. Nintendo promotes the addition of NES, SNES (And possibly N64/GB down the lane) titles almost exclusively, alongside full-game demos. While these incentives are good, Nintendo still barely touches upon everything else the service should honor. They consistently ignore features they've done for free in the past like messaging & game invites. Other avenues like cloud saves & stable connectivity, are barely appropriately handled. Then, there's the fact that the company still ties voice chat to a smartphone app, rather than making it a console-based option, like they're competitors.

Re: Random: Waluigi And Wario Get A Much Deserved Celebrity Endorsement
@TonyTyga90 I agree with you 100%
Re: Random: Nintendo Has Uploaded Its Switch Online Trailer (Again), And It's Still Getting Disliked
@Mortenb I don't like the lack of communication options, really. No native chat or limited access to messaging without the phone app.
Re: Random: Nintendo Has Uploaded Its Switch Online Trailer (Again), And It's Still Getting Disliked
@Rhaoulos I was never big on the service due to the lack of communication features, but that may change with the recent Bluetooth audio rumors.
Re: Nintendo Reminds Us The Switch Online Service Now Has Over 80 Classic Games
@Moistnado I agree. They seem to be more concerned with selling nostalgia than focusing on stable connections and native party chat.
Re: Nintendo Reminds Us The Switch Online Service Now Has Over 80 Classic Games
@Joriss I think the games listed are great, but what about my previous comment about features?
