@Yosher Crimzon Clover World Explosion is essential if you have any slight interest in the genre. Then there's Rolling Gunner wich is phenomenal. Caves Progear on Capcom Arcade... Sisters Royal from Alpha Denshi is also worth. Jamestown+ its also great.
Be careful with Ikaruga. Its phenomenal but a different approach to any other shmup or bullet hell.
@Darlinfan if half of your family had been slaughter at the time of the Japanese invasion you would think differently. And im sure they want something like Street Fighter to reach as many people as possible.
@Tom-Massey Hi Tom. No need to justify your score, the review does that clearly. Its a positive view for sure. From a personal perspective i was really surprised with the game to the point i doubled dip on ps4 as well. Im more of a classic shooter kind of person but was really, really impressed with Panda Indie work on this game. And it shows that rougue elements can exist within the genre... Stereden also nailed it... This is definitely a far superior experience to their previous game. I do also found some issues with the game...a bug where the game crashes after a certain boss (stage 4-bowling level - dev will apply a fix soon it seems) and some hiccups when things go "bullet hell". Besides this... I believe its eastasia finest output. So yeah don't take my view personally, its just games. Take care and thanks for take your time to cover such a game.
This is the best original shooter coming out on Switch in a long time. Highly recommended it to anyone with a slight interest im the genre. Its sublime.
