@Einherjar Well viruses evolve all the time, so I don't think there'd really be immunities like that. It's mainly because the Japanese take work quite seriously and will still go even if slightly sick. Many people take the train to work/school, which gets really squashy in rush hour, so you often see people wearing them in train stations. In my limited experience, at least.
I live in Australia, and a lot of us take sickies just to watch the cricket! And our trains are never on time.
@Einherjar @FishieFish Yeah, in Japan most people wear them as not to pass their illness/cough on, or if lots of others around them are sick. Some stores actually have whole aisles of them! But seriously this is a good idea for apartments and close houses if you don't want to annoy your neighbors with your singing.
I guess it was nice that this is released here in Australia as well, but it does cost then basically nothing to do so so that's probably why. Anyway, now I feel like playing Rhythm Thief again!
Also the multiplatform bit doesn'mean anything. Nintendo always have them listed as multiplatform so they don't have to bother to classify them again if they get rereleased, like on a virtual console in 20 years.
This game is a little different but really really fun. When I saw it when I was in Japan, I remembered the fact that it existed and spent like 10 minutes just feeling it, which made my friends look at me dodgily for a bit. They think I'm a bit too obsessed with Nintendo, but ah well. The game was a little expensive but really, really fun!
Iwata is awesome. When I saw the picture I actually thought they were like "Lolz we built a giant fake GamePad!" but then I realised I just need to rest my eyes... and my arms, and my legs!
Mine's actually at the ready nearby the console and TV with all my other accessories. It just never gets used, like the dodgy tennis racquet heads retailers chucked in with Wii purchases. But I'm going to dust it off for Wii Fit U. If I can find batteries, and a place to buy the Fit Meter!
I forgot how terrible the North American eShop cards looked. The EU ones are even more bland. Even though we are often neglected down here, it's nice because the Australian eShop cards have the same special Mario and Zelda designs like in Japan! Only $15 & $30 denominations though.
@MeWario I think that's a bit harsh; Nintendo may be a little slack down here but they still have gotten us a few cool release dates as well as Nintendo Connection Tours and stuff...
