I'd love to have those soundtrack CDs that club Nintendo JP has. Heck, I'd love to see ANYTHING on the club Nintendo NA that isn't the crap we have right now. Anything decent is always limited edition and gone by the time I learn of its existence.
I can't speak for others, but I haven't bought a WiiU because of the insane lack of software.

Blockbuster games: Article claims New Super Mario Bros, I say the only blockbuster title is ZombiiU.

So I'd effectively buy a system for 4 games. One came out on launch, the other isn't out yet, two have almost nothing known about them. Nintendo, why didn't you learn from the 3DS launch about first party titles? Pikmin 3 and the 3D mario game should have been LAUNCH titles.
Reminds me of when EB Games had decent preorder bonuses like that. They haven't had anything decent since they stiffed me on the shadow the hedgehog preorder beanie hat.

ZombiiU was a ton of fun to play but right now that's it. Why didn't they have a killer app that really showed something the console could do at launch? Pikmin 3? Mario Kart? Anything?
Look at past consoles and the highlights from their launch titles: NES: Donkey Kong, Clu Clu Land, Duck Hunt, Excitebike, Super Mario Bros, Wild Gunman, Wrecking Crew SNES: Super Mario World, F-Zero, Gradius III, SimCity N64: Super Mario 64, Pilot Wings 64 Gamecube: Luigi's Mansion, Super Monkey Ball, Stars Wars Squadron 2: Rogue Leader Wii: Wii Sports, Excite Truck, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
Each console had a major franchise/name in it like Mario or Zelda. Each had reasons to buy it. WiiU had the 5th NSMB title which did what exactly? Copy a SNES launch title as opposed to continue the trend of doing something relatively new. Marketing helped to make sales poor, but no self respecting person buys a computer without worthwhile software to run on it.
Truth be told I'm not surprised. There are only so many times you can release a console with nothing but things that resemble the killer apps from the last console which had nothing but games which resembled the last console.....
Protip: when you make a new console, you might want to invest a fair bit in a few original IPs to show that it really is a new console or at least make a massive change in an existing IP (ie Metroid Prime) to show that it is in fact a new console.
If they played this in a theatre during the previews, I'd believe it's real. I'm not sure if that should be a complement to the makers of the video or an insult to the current state of Hollywood movies. I'm going to say both. It was really well made.
Team Meat have egos comparable to that of Axl Rose. They made 1 good game that got a lot of publicity and they think they're world class devs. There is a list the longer than Russia is wide with characters that would be more deserving and fit better into smash bros before meat boy makes the list.
