@Olmectron That's kind of a massive over simplification of the issue. It's really not "free" additional content, it's just the rest of the game being added in at a later date. This stuff was datamined a long time ago. On top of that, the game has WAY less content then the last entry from 2007. $60 for what's on offer here, even with the updates, really is ridiculous in my opinion.
@BLD It's still running on physical hardware though. The processing in done on the server side based on player input sent to the server and then that image is sent back to your switch. I'm guessing they're not paying for the best possible hardware, so it kinda makes sense. Assuming anyone actually bought it lol
@BTB20 Spoiled? How can someone be spoiled for feeling that a game's content doesn't match the price tag for them personally, especially when they can compare it directly with past entries? I love Mario Strikers, but I was also expecting a bit more from it after all these years particularly in it's stadium and mode variety. It's totally fine to feel that way, but let's not attack other people's perfectly valid opinions.
