@chriscare Sleeping dogs is a great shout! Would have been my preferred choice too. All these people on here talking about GTA V are unfortunately misguided. There is no way it would run on the Switch without some serious rework which I don’t believe Rockstar would see much value in.
I purchased this on Friday and it is a great little game for a bit of lighthearted fun. I would recommend at the current price point. It would be great to see some additional content later down the line.
As much as I am opposed to Ultimate Team as a game mode, I reslly don’t see this as any different to someone purchasing Pokemon or Match Attack Cards. You do not know what you will get in those packs and you are spending money on them.
@Medic_alert I completely agree. Nintendo should be looking to bring games similar to this to the switch, built specifically with the switch in mind. It’s great to see ports running on here but at that price point it is unjustified.
This seems a shambles of an offer. Saving £35 at the expense of a dock, hdmi cable and an adaptor seems ridiculous. I thought it was a great idea until I saw the price!
I think it’s a such a shame this game doesn’t get the credit it deserves. Especially when some aren’t happy that you can choose your own goals and work towards them. I truly think that’s the beauty of it. I’ve just finished my first year in the game and have earnt a healthy some of money, upgraded my house and tools and got myself a fedora! Making plans for the winter month as crops don’t grow, thinking of productive ways to spend time to earn money etc is excellent.
I recommend you give it a little time and you will begin to see it’s worth. I cannot wait for the multiplayer element, this will change the dynamic once again and will be groundbreaking for a game in this genre.
I am keen to play this - I’ve heard great things. My concern, however, is like everyone else, this is too late, it’s full price and the premise that I get to play in handheld isn’t enough to warranties. Equally, the reviewer states - you’re getting the full experience you’d get anywhere else - only now you’re getting to enjoy it with the handheld freedom only Switch can provide. - however the other versions came with the Stick of Truth and we aren’t getting that either. Definitely disappointed with this one.
I feel this review does not reflect the fun to be had with this game. First of all, the modest price of £8.99 has to be taken into consideration. There are a large number of games that have been released on Switch in the last couple of months more than double this price with a shelf life of 4-5 hours. I think the graphics are, at times, excellent and although there may be some glitches, taken in good humour they actually add to the personality of the game. I think it has a lot to offer and well worth a go
I just completed OxenFree and my first thought was to post on here. This game is worth every penny. I got it 75% off and it was an excellent purchase. For what is effectively a walking simulator, the voice acting, music, eerie tone and dialogue options are superb. I found myself changing the way I approached the game as time went by as I wanted the best for the character which really struck me as a finished the latter stages. Give it a go!
I fancy this a lot however I think it’s because there is a lack of mature titles currently. Anybody played it before and recommend it? I’ve heard single player isn’t worth playing at all?
I’ve been thinking about getting this game for awhile but something is holding me back. Is it worth the money? How much extra life is there outside of the main game?

Re: Review: Mugsters (Switch eShop)
@Aven in the UK it’s £9.99. Always worth a punt for a game under £10.

I truly expected a 10/10 when I got to the end of the review. Can’t wait for this!

I have downloaded it with no problems. Runs like a dream. I’ve been waiting for this update for months!

Surely we can expect a bundle of both at a better price?
Re: Review: Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder Devastated (Switch eShop)
And yet somehow this game was rated higher than Radiation Island which offers open world, complex crafting and decent graphics for £8. Go figure

Re: Review: Fe (Switch eShop)
3 hours of gameplay just isn’t good enough in my opinion. We live in an age where Xenoblade 2 offers over 100 hours...
A simple platformer should be able to offer more - I won’t be purchasing for any more than £5
Re: Review: Layers Of Fear: Legacy (Switch eShop)
This is a first day purchase for me. The visuals, story-telling and quirky scares have sold it!
