I picked up Metroid Prime Remastered on Saturday, and what a beautiful game. It didn't grab my interest as a child when it came out, but I played and loved prime 3. I've almost met the cap on the Octopath Traveler II demo as well, and I've really enjoyed it so I plan to pick that up in the near future. It overall plays a lot smoother and faster than the first one in my opinion.
Mine was a little game called Mickey's Dangerous Chase on the Gameboy. When the Gameboy Color came out, my older brother passed down his grey Gameboy Pocket to me with that game and a few other (mostly Disney) titles he had. I have fond memories of this one!
I think for me it's Animal Crossing: Happy Home Paradise + the free update content. It really sucked me back into the game. SMT V is excellent as well and I've been waiting a long time for it, I just haven't sunk as many hours into it as I have Animal Crossing.
My brother preordered this with the amiibo for me as a birthday gift. However, my birthday is in early December so let the waiting game begin! This looks really fun. I haven't played Samus Returns but I love the look of the added combat mechanics. Maybe I'll try to find that in the meantime.
Wow. Pretty variable responses in that poll. I'd like to have one since I primarily play my switch in handheld mode and mine is aging, but I'm not sure that I want to drop $350 on it right now.
This sounds like it's packed with a lot more content than I was expecting, especially for a $40 game. I can't wait to play this. I've been a huge fan of Warioware since Smooth Moves, and haven't played an entry in years. Haven't had the chance to download the demo since I moved over the weekend and haven't had internet at home, but I'm so looking forward to getting sucked into this with friends!
My first Nintendo console was a Gameboy Pocket, but I really didn't have any first party Nintendo games for it. If we're talking first Nintendo GAME, it was probably Donkey Kong Country on the SNES. I remember playing that with my dad and brother. I still play through it to this day!
The most recent one to crack my top 5 would be Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I think it's brilliant. Here's my top five, in no particular order:
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Persona 4: Golden
Pokemon Sapphire
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Resident Evil 4

Re: Masahiro Sakurai Confirms He's Working On A New Game
@8bit-Man Oh wow. I love it as I feel like it gives me more to do though it can get frustrating towards the end with the tasks that feel impossible.
Re: Feature: Best Royals In Nintendo Games - Who's Your Favourite?
Claude von Riegan. What an interesting and fun character.

Re: Feature: Video Game Music That Didn't Need To Go That Hard
Funky Kong's theme from Donkey Kong Country. The HIYA is so hype.

Re: Feature: 7 Reasons For Picking Starter Pokémon, But How Do You Pick Yours?
I pick the one whose evolutionary line as a whole I like the best. So, for me it's too early to tell.

Re: Poll: As Sora Joins Smash Bros. Ultimate, How Much Of The DLC Roster Do You Own?
@Zag_Man I loved the mission modes of the previous games. I'd like to see that make a return some day.
Re: Nintendo Says It's Continuously Working On Improving Joy-Con Durability, But Wear Is "Unavoidable"
If this is the stance they're going to take, then they should lower the price.

That looks pretty visually stunning. I hope it performs well on the Switch.

Re: Talking Point: Which Game Stage Have You Replayed More Than Any Other?
Definitely Wario's castle level at the end of Super Mario Land 2 on the Gameboy. It took me MANY tries to get past it!
