@Strumpan Nintendo execs are now referring to "variable pricing" with no explicit ceiling or floor. I know there has been some incorrect information floating around (in part because Nintendo has been so coy about releasing information) - I was thinking of $90 physical Mario Kart World, which may not be accurate. But Nintendo also hasn't ruled out pricing that high for some games under their new pricing model, either.
For me the console price is not a problem (unless they raise it). It's the variable pricing model with games so far up to $80, $90, combined with a lack of commitment to 100% physical games.
Looking forward to trying this, though the patches of rough dialogue critique is both unsurprising and disappointing. Feels like for a while now Square has been nailing art, music, battle design, etc, but struggling to deliver on compelling writing. Bravely Default and Octopath were two major examples of this.

Re: Opinion: The Switch 2 Is A Powerhouse For The Price
@BTB20 At launch, yes. Hopefully they won't go above $80, but again, Bowser talked vaguely about variable pricing without any tangible numbers.
Are you saying no games are on key-card?
