Wait. What.. Sunday as the START of the week in several countries???? (Or perhaps a few countries with a TON of people?) This might have been news to me (a bit ashamed I didn’t know about this, or I’ve just forgotten). I’m Swedish by the way, and I think most of Europe start the week on Monday.

Had to google a bit. Does North America generally count Sunday as the first day of the week?? 🤯

Though when it comes to business and such, Monday is globally, generally, the start of the week, I just found out.

@Arcsol

So, you mean that the people that are actually using hardware and software to measure frames per second are the ones lying?

Gotcha!

Sorry, but DF is right. I have the game on PC (with a RTX 5070 Ti), PS5 Pro and Switch 2, and it does drop quite often below 40 fps in performance mode in both docked and handheld. You don’t need hardware or software to notice that. At least I don’t.

It’s still a good port though. GJ CDPR.

But yeah. Leave the copium by the door 😅
The amount of fanboyism, copium and DF bashing here is not flattering. They’ve praised the Switch 1 (and 2) on a million occasions.
People also need to understand that the Switch 2 still has ”old” hardware compared to every other major console, except ones released 5+ years ago.

I still love my Switch 2, ’cause I knew what I was buying. The only thing I’m dissatisfied with so far is the peformance in No Man’s Sky, I was hoping for higher and more stable fram rate there.. But that’s about it.

Well duh.. That’s because Nintendo themselves don’t have analogue triggers on their own controllers. So no game released for the Switch requires analogue triggers… Some third party games use’em for other platforms obviously, but Nintendo themselves don’t.

Sony and their first party studios are generally good at utilizing the Dualsense controllers goodies, like the analogue triggers (with built in resistance etc.).

I don’t think it’s a dealbreaker at all, but I find it weird (and a shame) that Nintendo doesn’t seem to care about analogue triggers.

And yeah, the Dualsense really is the best controller ever made. It has everything basically. Real innovation. The rest are stuck at the moment (well, except Nintendo i guess).

With all that said, I LOVE the Switch 2 Pro controller, it’s so damn nice to hold and use. I’m not super thrilled about the flat back buttons though… I would have preferred if they stood out just a little bit. But I guess they made them so flat so the ergonomics wouldn’t get compromised, and I can respect that.

Overall, love the Switch 2!
