As much as I enjoyed the New Super Mario titles, they definitely felt like just "2D Mario but 3D"! Wonder definitely looks like an actual evolution of 2D Mario. I'd love to continue seeing more "smaller" games from Nintendo in between the bigger entries in their franchises. BOTW and TOTK are amazing, but they take so long to develop, it would be great to get some more tight, linear Zelda experiences to hold us over between the larger entries.
In a perfect world, everything would run at 60fps, but this just isn't the type of game that's gonna suffer much if at all. Assuming they take the time button presses into account and any other issues reducing the fps may cause, this is such a non-issue. I get the outrage over 3d all stars being 30fps, those games feel and play much better at 60 and the ports had no meaningful upgrades in visual quality. Again, this isn't a fast-paced action game and they've done significant visual enhancements. 60fps would've been nice, but it's just not gonna likely affect anyones enjoyment of the game.
Idk if everyone saying Chris Pratt will voice him are joking or not, but hiring an A-lister for every Mario game would be so insanely expensive, there's no way that would happen..
