Re: Review: BUGS vs. TANKS! (3DS eShop)

@dumedum
With all due respect, but I am German, I know people who lived in that era in Germany (upon them my own grandparents) and I think I know a little more about the history of my country and its people, as some author of a book which got 3 stars on amazon, because its full of unproven theories and generalizations.

Re: Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition Finally Makes It To Australia And New Zealand

Well, we are talking about an eShop game. I don't understand why that's such a big deal, when you can easily switch the region of your 3DS/ Wii U to some European country and download the game. Same for Bit.Trip Runner 2. You don't have to wait longer than Europe, at all.

Also, I was just on ezydvd.com.au to check the prices in your region and are you kidding? ALL 3DS games are way cheaper in Australia (or at least on ezydvd) than in (mainland) Europe, because we get the same prices as you, just with a €-symbol. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity for $36? You know how much it is in Germany right now (on amazon.de)? About $55. So, am I missing something or what's all the fuss about?

EDIT: So, I also checked your console prices for 3DS XL and Wii U. A Premium Wii U for $348 (about 250€) on bigw.com.au is -AGAIN- way cheaper than prices in Europe and the 3DS Xl costs the same in both regions, but its lacking the AC adapter in Europe. I would love to have such prices in Europe, really. -.-

"Bearing in mind it was pulled at the very last minute means the game can't have that much wrong with it - it must be in non-english dictionaries."

lol, what? Do you think they'll start translating the game one week before release date? The game was available on the eshop for a few hours on its original release date with all languages on board. The same happened last year in November or December on Steam and even than all languages were ready.

I think the delay must have something to do with the lawsuit between the developers/ Warner Bros. and the guys who sued them for implementing their memes without permission.

I think, they canceled the European release altogether. Nintendo had plenty of opportunities to address this issue in one of its Directs, but they decided to hush it up, which I think they wouldn't have done, if they'd still plan to bring it over.

@TrueWiiMaster
"Which part of your life improves by having what heterosexual couples have?
Marriage is union between a man and a woman. Union between man and man, or woman and woman, is something else. Whether it's wrong or right, it's just, by definition, different from marriage."

First of all, that's only YOUR definition of marriage. Don't act as if it's the only right definition, because many people would beg to differ.
Also, your argument (even if it were valid, which it isn't) doesn't change the fact, that the "Union between man and man, or woman and woman" should be treated equally, no matter how you name it.

Hey, I wanted to edit my post by myself right now (before I noticed you were more quickly), because I realized it was way over the top. Sorry for that! I'm sometimes a rather impulsive person and write faster than I think. :/

I'm also sorry, if I offended any American. I have some friends from the US who are just the sweetest people you could imagine and I shouldn't have made such a generalization.

Re: Rumour: Tomodachi Collection: New Life Update to Remove Same-Sex Marriage

Bluezealand

There are so many ignorant answers regarding this topic, it's unbelievable. It's not part of any of your business who I love, who I want to marry and with whom I have sex with. Thank you very much.

@Best_: And to acknowledge basic human rights for all people equally is no "trend"! Would be interesting to see, how you would react, if someone would try to take them away from you.

Re: Tomodachi Collection: New Life Features Same-Sex Marriage For Men, But Not Women

Bluezealand

@theblackdragon: sorry that I took part in this off-topic and highly sensitive discussion. To be more on topic: As many previously mentioned, I also hope Nintendo will include same sex marriages for females as well when they fix it, instead of scrapping it altogether. If they bring this game to Europe and the Americas, I might take a closer look.

@Midnight3DS: I'd like to answer you regarding this, but here is not the right place. But please understand, that it is pretty offending to demand some kind of 'warning label' to people, who are actually gay.

Re: Tomodachi Collection: New Life Features Same-Sex Marriage For Men, But Not Women

Bluezealand

Gay people deserve as much as everyone to be happy and loved. It's nice to see so many supportive comments regarding this topic, especially since many people of the gaming community are -at least from my point of view- pretty homophobic.
I just don't understand how some people can be so full of hate, only because there are others who don't live the life they'd approve. Actually, I don't even understand how someone could have the impression they had the right to disapprove another persons lifestyle (or more fitting, since its nothing you'd choose, another persons identity, its 'self').

"The crowdfunding won't be done on Kickstarter as it's a Canadian company - a requirement of starting your own Kickstarter project is that you are based in the US or UK..."

I don't know where you got this from, but it's not true. You can do a kickstarter from everywhere in the world.

EDIT: ok you were right, I just looked it up and it's indeed only working for US and UK residents. There are many projects from other countries, though. All you need is a friend, who is either living in the US or the UK.

This was actually working right from the beginning. All you have to do is to touch the words you want the browser to remember.
