I THOUGHT this looked weird at first... ...Then I saw the massive, totally macho version of what appears to be the offspring of Frosty the Snowman and the Jack in the Box guy...Creepy...
EDIT: What the-?!? As SOON as I posted this, that pic was taken down! EDITEDIT: Facepalm ...The screenshots cycle, don't they?... EDITEDITEDIT: ...Yup.
I'm super psyched for this! While reading some of the comments, I notice that some of you might not find this to be scary...but that's good for me! I scare REALLY easily, but I've always wanted to try a "horror" game. (Odd... ) So, this is perfect, creepy enough to scare me, yet not scary enough to make me pee my pants or keep me up all night in bed...
Also, I hope they do that whole "putting the Wiimote up to your ear to hear the calls" thing, cuz that sounded awesome in Lit (although I've never played it ) and would really put some atmosphere into the game!
Is anyone else reminded of Onslaught when they here this music? I know they are made by the same people, but it's kind of weird how they both sound so similar...
EDIT: Haha! I watched the trailer again and noticed that the girl who answered the phone mouthed "moshimoshi", which is the Japanese "hello" whenever they answer a phone!
@gabikun: I can't say I know what it's called (I haven't had it for that long ) but it is definitely useful! Here's a picture of it's box cover You can write something you've heard in Japanese and it'll tell you what it means in English (obviously some Japanese experience is required for that ) Also, there is a section where you can write stuff in English and it translates the word into Japanese. This can be executed either by writing it on the touch screen or using a virtual keyboard. Also, a nifty little feature is the voice that pronounces an English word that was looked up for you and says the syllables in Japanese as you write them. Not a big deal, but it makes it seem more efficiant. Some complaints I have with it is the fact that it can sometimes be picky with stroke orders. Since that's one of the ways the software calculates what you are writing, some people's writing styles might be slated by it. Also, the tutorial is in Japanese, so unless you can find an English translation on the internet, you pretty much have to fend for yourself...(it's not too hard to grasp though...) I had my Japanese teacher help me out, so I lucked out.
I really liked what he said about the challenge in games nowadays, and I completely agree...Games just aren't fun if they don't make you grunt in frustration as you play them! That gives you memories!
I've already imported a Japanese/English dictionary to use on my DS... Sounds to me that this one is a knock off of that one, like a few other DSiWare titles (coughMasterofIllusioncough)!
I'm guessing some sort of Star Fox kind of thing, where the beats fly at you (uses an epic voice) IN 3D! Any you may have to hit 'em as they come...I don't know I'm bad at guessing games...
@pixelman You Should! This game was epic for me! I played it for hours without ever accomplishing anything! (Of course that was amazing, seeing as how my attention span as a little kid sucked...)
Just downloaded it today and I gotta say, the first stage is... easy... I beat it on my second try! However, I'm glad to say that the second stage offers a bit more of a challenge!
@damuscus and chunky_droid It's not really just THIS game...he's been pretty much dissapointed with a lot of Nintendo games recently, because there's not enough "hardcore" games... He refuses to try "new" concepts, such as Bit. Trip Beat, and he's avoiding TWEWY because the combat looks "too hard" (Even though I explained beforehand that there was no random encounters, and all of the cool aspects of it...he even got excited) Seems to me that he just want's some decent violence, and the Wii won't offer him that...
@ first i was thinking this would never come out for a while (i dont keep up with news that much) so i bought Aquia with my last 500 pts. When it came out i was extremely mad at myself. Then i saw through my halfway-gouged eye that it was 800 pts and i couldn't have gotten it anyway, so i'm still fully satisfied with my most recent purchase. Oh well, i guess i can get some more pts...
Definitely different...Definitely good! This game offers great challenge with awesome music to boot! However, the game is not for everyone...especially for people who don't even have enough patience to read this comment... Regardless! This is still a sweet game. I officially HATE the bouncing beats...
...While I'm currently impressed with Art Style, I'm gonna give this one a miss. Even though the majority of the Art Style games look great, this one just looks like a calculator. I play video games to get AWAY from things like math...
This game is fun, for about 15 min a day.... Also, I rarely encountered problems with my camera...Until I read this review... Now, for some reason, my face won't register...and the game's really starting to show it's true colors... It seems this site has some sort of magical powers...
I hardly ever play puzzle games...EVER! But I got this game and I couldn't be more satisfied. Definately the best DSiWare right now. Good Job, Art Style! I'm considering getting Cubello as well...
OK, so they turned a side-scrolling action game into a turn-based RPG? That's more than just a spin-off, it's just madness. (Please, no one respond by saying "But this is SPARTA!")
I was planning on passing on this game, because I already had the DS version, but then I lost it... This was one of my favorite games of all time! (...but I still don't have it...)
This Game was soooo much fun as a little kid. However, I never beat it in less than 2 hours as a little kid... Still, the photo uploads help to make the game last longer.

Re: Trauma Team Endoscopy Trailer
Looks like this game is going to offer a lot of variety!
I'm interested to see how the rest of the game plays (especially the forensics).
Re: Two More WiiWare Demos for Lucky Japan
@Starwolf: There's an Ace Attorney Investigations demo out?!? O.o
Re: Two More WiiWare Demos for Lucky Japan
Phoenix Wright demo is a must.
In fact, it was the Apollo Justice demo on the Nintnedo Channel that got me hooked on the whole series!
Re: WiiWare Phoenix Wright Makes Most Of Wii Remote
@Curt: You could always press -
...but that's not as fun... :3
Re: Castle of Magic
Very interesting...looks good...
I lol'd when I saw that you could put your face on the character! Oh, the possibilities!

My friend bought this, and was really saddened by it... He is now considering selling his Wii.
Re: Review: Bit.Trip: Beat (WiiWare)
Huzzah!/Booya!/Holy Cheese!/Sweet Mamma Jamma! I beat Growth, baby!
Re: Competitions: Follow nintendolife on Twitter
I think it would be better if we could post our jokes on to this comment thread...That way it's more accessible to the public, but that's just me.
Re: Flipnote Studio
I was heartbroken when i realized that thiss didn't come out on launch like i expected it too.
Oh well, at least i know i can get it soon!

LOL I would play this just so I could hear the little people scream as they fell...
Re: Bit.Trip Core

What to do...

Re: Donkey Kong Jr. Math
I'll admit, when I first saw this game, I laughed. There's no way a game like this could be good, even if it does say "Donkey Kong" in the title.
Re: Kirby's Dream Land 3
Don't get me wrong, I bet this game is probably great, but what ever happened to Kirby Super Star/Fun Pak being released?

Re: Super Mario Bros. 3
This game has been #1 on the "Popular Titles" section of the shop channel for months! It is obviously worth the download.
Re: Sin and Punishment
The story and gameplay are decent, but the ending is just way to confusing!
