@Marshi Search for change MTU Wii U on Google and change it and see if it helps. Sorry I can't explain atm. Limited time!

@Marshi Try looking at your MTU setting on the Wii U. If it's higher than your router... that could be a problem. Try 1492 MTU. Also, do you have the Wii LAN adapter? When you play FF is the device connected via WiFi or LAN?

If you're having connection issues often, it's likely on your end.

I really feel that Nintendo are making it hard to be 100% convinced that Amiibo are worth purchasing.

Hate to say it, as I'd really love to get all the Amiibo figurines, but if that's all the functionality that will be used in MK8, then I definitely won't be getting Amiibos. If they release MK8 Amiibos in the future, then I still won't be getting them as I don't like the idea of a Mario being available for Smash, and a different Mario available for MK8.

So, I hope the Direct brings better news than what appears to be the case at this stage.

@CTs_Lieutenant Gamespot do love Platinum Games though. Still, you'd usually think that a Nintendo association would at least drop it by 1 or 2 points out of 10 lol

This was all a false rumour. Nintendo UK has confirmed the controller and adapter will only work with Smash Bros

A bit disappointed in the price here in Australia. Makes me think a bit more about whether they are worth purchasing, and indeed how many if I do.

I hadn't bought AC on any platform until AC3 (and then AC4) on the Wii U; and I have been a big player of BF4, past CoD, and various other titles on PC.

Guess I won't be buying AC on the Wii U now - Ubisoft is right. Can I just say to them though, I'm glad I bought Watch Dogs on the PC for $23 though, because it has proved to me that Ubisoft are full of hype but not a lot of substance; it's a good game but not THAT good at all. Also, can Ubisoft learn how to make their game engines run well in 3D... I know they can do it in 2D with Rayman and the like, but they sure as hell seem to struggle with everything else, even with a high end gaming PC.

64GB SD card is ready and waiting... except that I'll be buying the physical copy!
