Ridley got upgraded from boss to a pseudo-character, he's slowly making his way up there. Also with the way Ridley has walking, running, jumping and other animations fighters have, as well as being able to hang off the edge like a playable character, gives a point if KO'd, has his own Stock icon and even turns into Meta Ridley just like a Final Smash, makes me wonder if Ridley was considered to be actually playable (with some size scaling) in this Smash. But maybe they thought he'd be too big for the 3DS screen or whatever so they scrapped that consideration.
Why are people so opposed to the concept of DLC? Nintendo has shown they can do DLC right by offering substantial new content at a reasonable price, what's wrong with some more characters or stages to keep the hype going and keep the game fresh? It doesn't even have to be so soon, it can be a couple months down the line. I'd love some more content after release to make this already big game even bigger.
@Intrepid Same with me, it froze up when it was nearly finished. I'm worried that now it won't let me retry the transfer again once the servers are up and running again.
@Shadx Like I mentioned in an above comment, stuff WAS cut out of Wind Waker due to there not being enough development time or something along those lines. I really do hope they add that stuff in for the people who played the original to give them a little something more.
It's actually annoying people are complaining about this...we should be lucky they're doing this at all, and you're willing to complain about it not being portable?
Anyhoo, regarding the actual game, I hope they add in the extra dungeons that were cut out to save development time. If they did it would be fantastic.
I'll be getting a premium pack along with NSMBU but I'm still feeling sour about how America gets Pikmin 3 on launch and Europe has to wait until 2013. I've waited for that game for 8 years and to hold it back infuriates me.
Wow, the European launch is terrible. We get NSMBU, CALL OF SHOOTAN: BLACK SOCKS 2 and Fifa as our main games? What about Pikmin 3? The Wonderful 101? Other good games? At least we get Rayman Legends to soften the blow, but Nintendo really made a poor launch for Europe. I blame the people who only play sports and shooting games.
Not impressed I have to say. The reused music doesn't help with people saying it's unoriginal. The backgrounds also look very similar...I'll probably skip on this one. However, I am looking forward to NSMBU.
@SkywardLink98 Whilst you may have not wanted those games, many others did. The community has asked for a new entry in the Pikmin series so they showed it. People wanted a new Mario game so they gave it us. Just because it's not to your taste, does not make it a bad lineup.
@Luigifan141 400 Pikmin. Imagine all those Pikmin with their own animations along with 4 leaders, treasures, enemies and other things going on. The lag would be incredible.
I live in the UK, and I think it's no surprise that the "mainstream" games are in the top 12, I much rather prefer Mario, the black sheep games and I'm preparing for Pikmin 3. Considering the higher ranking games in the sales chart are on consoles that have a much larger install base than the 3DS it was to be expected they would sell more.
I'm really excited for this (heck, I've waited nearly 8 years for this!) and I can't wait to see new mechanics, features they've added and of course, to see the Pikmin world in glorious HD....but I actually hope they only add one new colour of Pikmin. Any more and it will be too much to make a balanced squad - heck with Pikmin 2 I could only just make a practical group with 5 colours. Any more than one will be overkill unless they implement the ability to have over 100 Pikmin on the field - but then again that will make it hard to manage with such a large group. It's in good hands so we'll see if it can blow us away at E3. Hurry up June!
My wait is nearly over. At E3 this year, I am so sure that we will see Pikmin 3 that I will eat my left shoe if we don't. If this is a launch title....well I'm going to have to start saving for the Wii U.
Pikmin 3 and a Mario or Zelda to get the ball rolling. Then a few months later release a new Star Fox and a brand new LP to give all of us plenty of time to spend with our Wii U
This leaves a pit in my heart that people are still buying this trash and not experiencing the great games out there. If people want to get fit, why don't they go to a gym? Honestly, this list shows that although the future of gaming will still get good "hardcore" games, it will never quite be the same as what it was.

Re: Rune Factory 4 European Release Has Been Cancelled
@gurtifus I've given up hope on that coming to Europe...
Re: Rune Factory 4 European Release Has Been Cancelled
Can't wait for the region lock defence force to come and try and justify it once again. Yet another game I have to miss unless I import a NA 3DS...

Re: Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth Announced For 3DS
Digging that groovy title logo.
Re: New Sonic Lost World Trailer Reveals A Slight Delay to North American Release
What's with that disgusting box art with that needless text just thrown in there? Yuck.
Re: Doodle Jump Adventures Is Getting Physical In Europe
At least they're not releasing it at £30. I can respect that at least.
Re: Pikmin 3 Will Need to Gather 3950MB to Download onto Your Wii U
Still plan on getting the physical version - I'm more old fashioned in that sense, plus, I adore the cover art.

Re: Super Mario Gangnam Style Flash Mob's Got Some Moves
It's irritating how this is everywhere. What a stupid phase for society. I wish the song never existed.

Re: Review: New Super Mario Bros. 2 (3DS)
@nintendogamer27 It's something incredibly underwhelming. I won't spoil it, but don't expect anything exciting at all.
Re: Mario Kicked Out by FIFA as UK's Top Seller Since 1996
I don't even. Perhaps if FIFA was a good series then I could understand but is the gaming community in the UK really so shallow?

I have 3000 stars. Time to buy some games so I can register them.

5pm. Perfect! I can enjoy dinner whilst seeing the latest announcements. Pikmin 3 will look wonderful I'm sure.

Re: Ono and Harada Keep Scrapping in Tekken 3D Trailer
Trailer was funny, but the game....it seems to look chunky, both in the way of graphics and how the game "moves".
