@TheFatPlumber my day 1 switch 2 is on a surge protected extension lead and still failed, i felt it was a heat issue, but thats because at the beginning people were complaining online about device temperatures and i have only my device to form an opinion on. the nintendo uk website was really easy to deal with for the repair process
We had no wired connection after a few weeks and it wasn't a problem with anything except fortnite, it would get Super laggy with the characters rubber banding, so I went online @ Nintendo UK and filled in their form online and sent off the original dock. I bought a backup doc from Amazon which worked fine wired, then less than a week I had a replacement dock stating that the Ethernet port was a problem and the wired connection worked straight away. Recently it had it stopped working, so I've got my son to put the switch 2 into the third party dock, where wired work fine on a lan adaptor, plugged it back into the official switch to dock and it came back to the wired connection
Yesterday I decided to cancel my GameCube controller order because I realized that I have numerous GameCube controllers and a wavebird for if I wanted to play GameCube games. I wanted the new GameCube controller to play modern games with, as a bit of nostalgic fun, also having seen the reviews of the new Pro controller, I will be getting one, but I want one that isn't just black so I'm going to hang out till Christmas in the hope there's some themed ones coming out
We need a mario wonder/sunshine/galaxy, odyssey, like a time machine game where you can go to an 8bit, 16 bit, 32 bit environment from previous games, each is in a galaxy style (3d) version of mario
day 1 switch still going strong, but 4 joycons playing up, so ive double dipped on a new switch not 2 days ago, extended battery version, old one will be on ebay asap along with all old joycons to offset the cost
Day 1 I'm in, only game besides steamworld dig & heist that i have played through twice to the end, loved it on PC but to have it on the switch would make my lockdown
I have fond memories of the original on my pc, but the sequal was too hungry for my aging pc at the time, I so will look forward to the reviews of this
I would have loved one but all preorders sold out in the UK, can get them on eBay from £150 all the way up to £1500, scalpers remove all the enjoyment out of being a fan of anything
as a nintendo fan for me its not and never has been about the power, but the finish and the gameplay. i want new and interesting over overheating processors and massive power backs.
Ordered and confirmation email received, would have prefered the xl but im a sucker for a new nintendo console even if its just an update, wonder if it will be eligable for the winter free game promotion, fingers crossed.
They are bad Nintendo fans, I got 4 free codes and I put them on Facebook and twitter to first comers as soon a I realised I had the email, game plays great. I'm just gutted that I got a new yoshi 3ds xl to replace an original silver 3ds xl that had faulty speakers and if I had waited to register it I would have qualified in the new giveaway, because I am DEFINATELY getting smash bros, it's brilliant
i think the nes controller was used to be more portable over a snes controller, its very pocket-able which is the point to a mobile controller. Ive ordered one through the ebay page works out about £24 delivered
Never completed this game, it was awesome though, it's one of two games I always wanted to see on the virtual console , the other was metal arms on the GameCube
It's the games, priced at £49.99 a go they're too expensive, especially for parents of young children. Download prices should reflect the cheaper cost to system, but Nintendo has always charged too much for d/l. I have a wii u as I love Nintendo and trust that the games will come (which they will) premium and exclusive titles will take time to utilise the gamepad, look at the problems publishers had with the wiimote a when that first came out. Poor use of wiimote or just plain bad motion controls improved with time. Sony failed with their attempt completely and they are way more expensive then nintendos offering
