I can understand where a lot of the complaints are coming from, but I am very excited to finally get to experience some of these classics outside of the five minute Smash demos. The Mario Bros games are the only ones I've really played through, and small snippets of others. This is a great way to introduce younger kids to these games. I do wish they had at the very least SNES/Game boy games, though.
@Rika_Yoshitake But... It does run it. And it runs pretty well, all things considered. Especially when first released, but there has been a definite dip in quality since season 5. Mobile version, even on the newest phones, runs worse, and has abysmal controls to boot. Now, as for the actual article, bit of a shame that they're dropping the recording, but I can understand it. I haven't been playing much recently anyways.
I'll consider buying this if it goes on sale further down the line, I plan on buying 2k19 on Switch this week so I'll get my basketball fix through that. I do like the more arcadey design though.
@baller98 I played a little online, most of my those hours come from playing local with friends and teammates though. The animations didn't bug me as much as I thought, and they really patched it up well after the awful initial release.
I'm still a little ashamed to admit NBA 2k18 is my most played game on Switch at almost 200 hours, but I'm not ashamed to support the new release day one. 2k19 will be it for me this week.
