The Card unlocked for me today and I have had some time to play it. The game is made by D3Publisher which is a Japanese company that also published the Billiards game on the Switch.
As I was desperate for a good card game with Texas Holdem I had to get this game. The best way I can describe the interface of this game is "utilitarian". It is functional but somewhat bland. Most importantly it has a full touch interface so you are not limited to using the controller.
The menus and controls are shown on the screen. There are no fancy player icons or graphics for each player. Competing AI players are marked "Com1", "Com2", etc. Thankfully the card graphics are crisp and clear which is what matters most for me.
I am giving this an 8/10. As a card game it is great for travelling and even though the UI is bland it works. It doesn't try to throw some fancy "story" mode at the player like the "Vegas Party" game (which does not use touch screen!) but instead gives the player a solid set of card games.
Hopefully D3Publisher's other game "The Mahjong" is released for the western market as the Switch desperately needs more of these types of board games.
For me as someone who works at a Japanese company the lack of information or updates regarding the Nintendo Switch Online Services is fairly typical of a Japanese company. They tend to keep things very close to their chest.
I also expect the Nintendo software engineers are desperately trying to iron out the kinks in their online service.
Sadly there is a dearth of decent poker games for the Switch so in my desperation I purchased this game. It's isn't bad and most importantly it has touch screen support. I would like to see the developers add Texas Hold Em and other card games to this title. 7/10.
Personally I have no problem with ROM sites - specifically ones that have old unavailable games - but if said site is asking for money then all bets are off. You would have to be extremely naive to expect Nintendo to take no legal action.
I wonder why it has taken so long for this to occur. And for those who actively pirate current games I have zero sympathy.
I will definitely get this. At the moment I use a 3rd party stand and have to feed the cable through it to connect. It is a bit messy. This is a far more elegant solution.

Re: Balatro Removed From European Nintendo eShops Due To Ratings Switch
The Nintendo title "51 Worldwide Games" includes Texas Holdem poker. I've played it many times. They are so inconsistent.
Re: 'Switch 2' Launching This Year With 8-Inch LCD Screen, According To New Analyst Rumour
I can't go back to LCD screen. OLED is just so much more vibrant and clear.

Re: Vegas Party
Vegas Party badly needs touchscreen support and a way to turn off the controller rumble.
