I'm sure the game companies are aware of this"recession"(I call it depression) we are going through why can't they adjust the prices based on economy instead of their suggested retail price? There are people who are missing out or went totally the ios/android/piracy route just to save money. The companies I understand need to make a profit but for some reason i feel they are outta touch or just don't care. It's bad enough you gotta pay more for everything else Groceries,gas etc. but couldn't they adjust the price a little?
@Findonovan95:that's the point i was trying to make. Games are getting expensive but it's more of a do these customers have the income to support such a hobby in the first place type of thing. This economy sucks and everyone who raises the prices or just overlooks the "budget crowd" with their prices. Sure nintendo products are a better alternative to CoughPS4CoughXbone but what if the customer is like me and is in financial ruin and can't get anymore games with no money job or income to back it?

The wep thing always killed it for me. Only good/fond memory i had was playing Mario Kart ds online. The old system sucked because wep is so hard to find these days..withering technology FA REAL! Now MK7 is way more enjoyable online now with the new way to get online it's a lot easier. I agree with capt n releasing both mk8 and ssb wii u around the sametimevwould hurt both of the games sales. This is good news if they are releasing the 3ds smash first then wii u later. Remember: we want to give mk 8 plenty of time to move systems b4 rushing towards smash hastily.
If they came out with games people want besides shooters and ASSCREED then maybe they would sell more. Child of light looks promising but how can one complain when they do nothing or half butted work? Watch dogs looks good but what else do they have? What rayman? and that was awhile ago!

Stablize my account where i can have games on both the 3ds and the wiii u so that way if I drop my system(3ds) in the toilet i can have the same games on wii u and just repair said 3ds and them transfer my games to whatever system i want.

I am shocked that somebody has been able to shut @peach64 up!lol I'm so sick of her negative nancyisms! Either way I am unfortunately part to blame for the massive spike in digital download sales for the eshop. I have a 3ds and ever since i have not been able to find a physical copy of Fire Emblem Awakening when it first came out I went digital. I've probably spent about$1,000 to $2000 on digital downloads. I'm sorry but it's so dang convienient! I don't have to lug around several cases of games when i wanna play and switch up on the go. I mean seriously there are too many 3ds games out there to sit there and lug around each and every case or even the little cases that hold four games each. The 3ds library is getting as bad as the original DS library...THERE'S TOO MANY COOL GAMES!

I agree with the 45% drop in physical sales. I am one of those 45% that only buys digital so I don't have to lug around all those game cards just to play on the go. It's more convienient to boot the 3ds up and get to playin' instead of nsmb2 then take the card out switch to another game rinse and repeat..sorry but nintendo releases so many good games it's easier to keep up with them if they are on your big ol trusty sd card.

This is not good news at all! I feel bad that someone else has to either join me in the unemployment line or join me in begging for change in order to be able to catch public transit just to go to the next job interview...this is not good news at all. Who ever wants them to close is probably either 1) not very pleased with their business practices(and who would be anyway) or 2) obviously callous individuals who get handouts from family or trust funds from family or the like and completely have no real visual idea of what it's like to try and make it in today's America...let's face it life is hard. There's no reason to make it harder on the next man or woman tryin' to come up. I will miss them if any of the stores around me close even though i have gone digital I still believe the midwest and other states in The U.S. should have dedicated gaming stores. Like another individual pointed out earlier in the comments...funcoland and eb games got bought out by gamestop so this is what we're left with and that's not a bad thing just a misadventure for us common folk..sigh!

Hey guys! I'm back! Been a long time but that's another story for another time. Just wanted to let you all know that this weekend I will be finishing my first playthrough of Chrono trigger Ds. I am done with all the sidequests and I'm just about to start the BLACK OMEN! It's weird how epic this game is and what's even weirder is how I've been instantly hooked sinced the title screen. Moreover what's even more weird is how this game that I knew about has never been played by me until 19 years after the dang thing was released on SNES. Let me tell you up until now I've felt pretty mighty beating the snot out of everyone up to this point but now that I've reached the climax of this game I'm starting to feel inferiority complex majorly! Just Look at that damn thing! The black omen looks pretty intimidating...well to anyone who hasn't played this game PLEASE try it out it's magic on a card. It's epic( I know we all hate that term) but there's no other word to describe it. For a game to evoke these many emotions inside me(fear,Despair,loathing, joy, sadness, Self worth) In other words this is the adventure of all adventures! To all my fellow gamers keep gaming! Please wish me luck as i get my arse handed to me tomorrow by lavos..here goes nothing!
@haywired: The 3d was theirs first on a portable console to use first. They may not have invented the concept of 3d but they perfected it first. As far as the gamepad I'm assuming you're referring to it's another example of taking an established concept and perfecting it for gaming purposes. No one entity can be solely original. Everyone get's some motivation from somewhere. It's the same with how sony and Microsoft ended up with motion control after nintendo did.

@haywired: The 3d was theirs first on a portable console to use first. They may not have invented the concept of 3d but they perfected it first. As far as the gamepad I'm assuming you're referring to it's another example of taking an established concept and perfecting it for gaming purposes. No one entity can be solely original. Everyone get's some motivation from somewhere. It's the same with how sony and Microsoft ended up with motion control after nintendo did.
