I think that in this review the main point (at least for me) is missing: how is the score structure? More like a Space Invaders Extreme (open-non linear) or more like an Ikaruga (linear-mnemonic)?
I'm on my second Wii, the first began to refuse to read older games, so i sent it for repair and they changed the console (warranty not available...for a couple of weeks, i paid 140 CHF). It's the first time i have to repair a Nintendo console, all my others hardware work fine (GB, GBC, GBL, GBA, GBASP, DS, SNES, N64, GC).
Great review for one of the best game ever made! I still remember how much hours i spent to find all the chain of the trade side quest...good old days when the only source for going on, if you're blocked, was your friends!
@bass X0: by third stage do you mean third level or you mean the third series of stage? Because i'm on the third series of stages and i didn't needed any DLC to progress, it's quietly easily, beside some side quests...
Nice review, usually i play FPS on PC (TF2), and The Conduit seems nothing new compared to other systems/consoles, but if you have only the Wii i think it's really good. I have a friend that play only with the Nintendo console, and he likes it very much.
Nice review! How is the lasting appeal? There is something like the final rating in MlaaK or the medals? I want to buy this game, but i'm worried it will not last as long as "... King"! Thanks!
