@GearsOfWarU I totally agree with everything you said. I too have 7 - 8 games I'm getting for Wii U and 3DS before the end of the year and... honestly none for PS3/4 XB360 and Vita. Actually, I'll be getting the new Ys for Vita but that's all I know of now. I WILL be getting a PS4 but don't know what games yet. I'm sure I'll find one.
But that speaks volumes for Nintendo. I already know those 7 - 8 games and have them on my calendar. What people don't seem to realize is that people who want Nintendo games buy Nintendo systems. And, as you said, as soon as the library of Nintendo games increases to more than just a few selections currently, the people on the fence will jump over and snap the systems up. It's how it goes with Nintendo systems. Has been since the N64. The Wii was anomalous. I wouldn't expect that kind of break-out performance again.
Now... if Nintendo REALLY wants to knock the ball out of the park, they will bundle the WiiU with Mario 3D World this holiday right out of the gate. Don't wait till Mario 3D World has been on the market for a while. Bundle it straight away. There are only 2 console launches in Nintendo history where they bundled a Mario game from the start. And that was NES and SNES. OK, so the NES wasn't bundled with SuperMario Bros during test market. But when they went national, they bundled Mario and Duck Hunt or Mario, Duck Hunt and thr Track game. And it went gangbusters. Same with SNES packed straight away with Mario World. After those two successful launches and product lifecycles, they sold Mario separately with no pack-ins. And since then, they have been only a steady (but strong and resilient) 3rd. They will lose out on revenue sure, but will make up for it in licensing fees from 3rd parties once WiiU reaches critical mass and 3rd parties jump on-board. They need to look to the past to improve their future. Go back to current and compelling pack-ins. Don't wait til the pack-ins they choose are in their maturity. Recently, they did this with Marioland 3D on 3DS. I think it was only on the market a few months before they started bundling the game with the 3DS that Christmas. And that with the price drop too is what ignited 3DS sales. That's how they can right this ship. I would bet dollars to donuts that this Xmas will see a price drop and - if not also with the price drop, at least bundling MarioWorld 3D. Let's start a pool! We can sell squares. LOL! What games will Nintendo bundle this Xmas?
ENOUGH of this stupid topic. How many times are you going to print these articles Nintendolife? Why bother asking, "what do you think" at the end of the article. Everyone knows what we think. Cant wait for Marioland 3D. I personally think it looks great! And am also looking forward to something new. Please not another Galaxy. Amazing! I wrote almost he exact same article on IGN a couple days ago. Almost word for word. This is the correct thing for them to do for sure. Many people don't realize that it takes capital and business focus to pursue each individual market. Especially where licensing and regulatory factors are present. Many companies decide that it is not worth the expense and the distraction to focus on smaller or emerging markets. In Nintendo's case, they are correct in that they need to be strong in their core markets before they can begin to compete in other smaller or emerging ones. @koopakid Huh. I actually like this graphical style ehre better than the first game. I like the shading that makes it a little more real. Of course I never was a fan of the Crayola-craft look of the first 3. I wish they would have just made it with the same graphical style of Super Mario World. This looks a little closer. My lord, who is playing that game? (I realize it's not the NL staff). Don't they know they have to bust the "?" Balloons with eggs? I mean I imagine this event is for industry people. How can you be in the industry and not have played Yoshi's island before? Watching this video is like watching a drunken sailor cork his bottle of rum.
@SanderEvers Mario Sunshine HD would be awesome. I don't think that was given a fair shake when it was released. I think the expectations were set so high after Mario 64. Plus, the fact that there were no differences in scenery (no snow, lava, desert levels) made it bland to some people. But the play mechanics that FLUDD brought were truly innovative. Would be fun to play that game again in HD!
@unrandomsam I would LOVE to see a new hand-drawn HD 2D Mario. But with no paper, crayons or yarn gimicks. Just good old fashioned and crafted 2D sprites (like the new Rayman). I had an idea a while ago where they could do a "Super Mario Epoch" kind of idea where all the Marios through the generations are represented in their unique art style of the era. They would mimic how they were drawn in their respective box art / instruction manuals. And they would each possess the most significant power-up of that game. So the Mario from SMW would be shown as he was drawn with the cape. SM3 would be the raccoon suit as drawn on the box. SM3 would be as drawn with the ability to pull and throw radishes. SM Sunshine would have the FLUDD and can hover, etc. It would be an homage to Mario as we've seen him in print through the ages. I would give my 3rd nut for something like that!
BTW, as much as I love Mario, if they would have released another 2D NSMB, I think even I'd start to get cranky. I agree with the Nintendo exec in that SM3DW, to me at least, IS new. I personally see a lot of innovation in terms of gameplay in the little I've seen! I can't wait to play it. And the new Mario & Luigi is just more of a series that I can never get enough of (and they are spaced out fairly well). The new Paper Mario had it's own innovation. So I'm good!
Personally, I love all the Mario. But I can see where some people are getting a bit frustrated. Just understand that despite what we think on these forums, being the dedicated core gamers we are, every Mario that comes out is being snapped up vigorously by the public. Then take a look at the position that Nintendo is in right now. They need to increase the install-base of their new WiiU system to generate interest from their consumers and, yes, 3rd party publishers. These games are the best way to do it. That's why they chose to have Retro do a new DK over Metroid. As much as many of we core gamers would love to see a new Metroid over DKC, the fact is that the DK series pushes more units and more systems. You just have to look at the numbers.
But rest assured, Nintendo will get back to and continue innovating once they have gotten themselves to the point where they are confident in their install base. Think of these Mario and DKC games as a shot of cortisone to the starting athlete to keep them in the game. We don't like it but it will win the champoinship! Then we look forward to next season!
I'm really starting to grow tired of companies like MS and EA due to their lack of honesty and integrity. I would tend to believe Reggie when he just recently (a couple days ago) stated that EA has games in development. His credibility carries a lot further than the those of any executives at EA. The reason EA is stating that there are no games in development is because if they decide to can a game for whatever reason seems logical to them that day, they don't have any more egg on their face than they already have. They've gone back and forth so many times even they realize they have to sh$t or get off the pot. So if one of their projects is good enough and they feel will sell well enough, they'll announce it and it will be out in a matter of weeks. If they decide it's not sunny enough outside, they'll cancel it and no one will know any different.
Wow... talk about a very misleading headline... Nintendo Life, you guys are skating very close to online rags like Wii U Daily... Not only does it sound like it's available for download now - but it won't be at all if the goal is not met. And so far it's not been met. Please don't diminish your credibility for button clicks...
Absolutely cannot wait for this game! Day one, cart purchase. With games like this, Zelda and DK, my 3DS will be busy. On the shelf, my poor Vita... it's only salvation is the upcoming Ys...
Would absolutely LOVE a new classic Mega Man done in HD like NSMB U or DK Country returns (like ricklongo above). And its gotta be Mega Man. Not X or 0 or Y or Z. Just PDQ, please!
@AlexSays I'm all for people sharing their opinions on here. But when you started putting people's opinions down and started picking arguments earlier on in this thread, you should be ready to finish it. Don't feign disinterest when you know you've just had it handed to you.
@AlexSays
So please tell me then WHAT you're comparing it to then? A $5 dollar game? $10 game? You said,
"How do we know it would take extra development time? Their handhelds are not difficult to develop for, and neither is mobile architecture. Developers don't have to relearn everything when ios or android gets updated."
You miss the point entirely because it all comes down to the content of the game and the time it takes to put all that content in a given game. It has nothing to do with the acumen of a developer learning another device. That's as simple as giving a game to a dev that can program for that device. It's inconsequential. The real question is how much are you going to put into a game. And very simply put, the content found in console/handheld games is entirely more complex than what devs put into mobile games. Why? For the simple fact that the mobile audience will not pay more than $5.99 for a mobile game - unless you're SquareEnix. It's that simple dude. This is why Nintendo will not put games on the mobile market. They aren't in the business of watering down their gaming experiences to a $5.99 price point. It's not what they do and it's not a pillar of their business. Don't back track. Stand by your comments and argue based on what you wrote.
@AlexSays Dude, you have absolutely no concept of development whatsoever. Very simply, the content packaged in the average one-dimensional "runner" or "defense" game available in the THOUSANDS on the mobile market is INFINITESIMAL when compared to what is required to create a 20 hour adventure like Zelda, Metroid or even Mario. There is just very simply a monumental effort and teams on the order of 50 - 80 people required to make finely crafted games that you get on consoles - and even handhelds. Do you honestly think that it takes the same amount of time, money and resources (the big three in any project) to make a .99 Ice Road Trucker "runner" as it does to make Luigi's Mansion? Or Paper Mario Sticker Star? The full experiences of the latter are what Nintendo are in the business of making. Plain and simple, end of story. And they need to charge $40 - $60 to recupe development costs for those experiences. And NO ONE will pay that much ofr a game on mobile markets. Especially with the bonus of having absolutely NO viable controls on a mobile device.
If you can't comprehend this, please know that I wholly disagree with you. watch the insults — TBD
@Kaihaku Exactly. There's a reason why McDonalds does what it does, Outback does what they do and The 9s (uber exclusive steakhouse here in Vegas) do what they do.
I'm beginning to understand that a lot of these talking heads like Molyneux and other "developer visionaries/veterans" are not the marketing people or even the bean counters. They are the "creative" people who typically live in their own worlds and continually search for their creative utopia. They're like the Sheldons (Big Bang Theory) of the gaming industry. It's a good thing that cooler heads prevail over at Nintendo
@JQuest Absolutely, 100% correct. I've been saying this for years. The pure COST in time and labor of developing an engaging, rich experience like Zelda or Metroid or even Mario is such that Nintendo simply cannot charge $5.99 or even $10 on iTunes. And no one will pay $50 for a full experience like that on a watered down platform that lacks proper control of gameplay on a device like a phone and tablet.
It floors me that seemingly veteran people in the industry just don't get the fact that you very simply cannot put a rich, engaging, enjoyable gameplay experience on a mobile gaming device... that will SELL. Nintendo is in a certain space of the market and they are comfortable there.
There is a reason why a fine Steakhouse doesn't sell fast food. It's just not their space. Get off of it already and learn you economics!
@AlexSays Why? It's clear that the bigger developers aren't making games for Wii U because after only 7 months on the market, the install base just isn't there yet. Even EA backed off their statement that they weren't going to make games for Wii U (which I called months ago) if the install base increases. There are also TONs of developers who actually praise the hardware. It's an economics thing. Plain and simple. How about you tell me what the other systems have that allow them to make better GAMEPLAY experiences than Nintendo? And don't even talk about better online experience because 1. I don't even consider the billion types of co-op or deathmatch that people blindly consume any kind of advancement in GAMEPLAY and 2. Nintendo has already built their pillars on local multi-player because they actually believe in people playing together and building closer relationships with their products. So, YOU tell me smart guy
I'm getting sick of people like this who just like to hear themselves talk. And look at him... former boss of 3 organizations... that's a great resume. And believe me, when people are "former bosses", 9 out of 10 times, they don't choose to leave for something else, they are asked to leave. His incompetence dealing with anything but talking out of his booty is very much apparent in that he doesn't seem to know that the Wii U came BEFORE SmartGlass and SmartGlass was a reaction to the innovation that Nintendo provided. And lastly, how Nintendo's hardware design - giving developers an entire 2nd screen to put content on and continue to innovate gameplay - could POSSIBLY "get in the way" of making great games is just simply asinine. The ONLY thing the Wii U is behind the PS4 / XB1 on is graphic fidelity. That's it! And how can that POSSIBLY be getting in the way of making great games.
The ONLY thing I agree with him on is, "they are a factor more intelligent than I am". Yup. You got that right buddy. By saying that a few years from now, we'll all be sitting there saying, "so that's what they were getting at" just negates your entire interview. Nice.
So profound! I absolutely love how Nintendo does business. It's how they do it now and how they have always conducted business. I'm gushing like a fanboy. But nothing gets me more excited than companies that "get it". And companies that know they make their coin on providing the consumer with the best goods and services possible.
And BTW, I remember when it was "cool" when developers said, "it will be done when it's done". But when Nintendo does it, "they don't know what they're doing". LOL! Sheeple...
@GiftedGimp Nice article you linked to. I think he was saying that people have about as much chance of seeing Zelda on PS3 as they do Baynetta 2 or The 101. He's right. They are a developer - not a publisher. Nintendo paid them to develop those two games. No way in hell that Nintendo will sell the rights to publish those 2 games for competing systems.
@GearsOfWarU Not only do you have impeccable taste in music but you're spot on about games too. I too don't see how people can bag on Super Mario 3D World - a game engine that has only been seen ONCE - on a handheld - WITH totally new game play elements such as picking up items, throwing them to teammates and then at enemies and a new power up (cat) that actually looks like it enables some cool combo action and a little bit of finesse to the same 'ol - when all of the games shown for PS4 and XB1 are Battlefield 4, Halo 5, Madden 25, Assasin's Creed 4, Final Fantasy XV (15!!! And they pale in comparison to the originals) and Batman Arham<whatever 3>... It blows my mind how people love to bash on Mario but go and consume what the kids who are too-cool-for-school are stuffing down their gullets.
Me, I'm happy with pretty much everything coming my way on my Wii U this holiday season, in addition to the butt-load of great games on my 3DS and a few on PS3/4. What's to complain about?
@GearsOfWarU Thanks dude! Check out www.aceshighlv.com for some more video too.
Oh yeah! I'm going to the show in Vegas. Megadeth will be there too. I've been traveling to see them for years. The best roadtrip I've taken was to see them at Twickenham (The Twix) stadium in the UK in 2008. Frikkin awesome. Old guys RULE! LOL!
LOVE this classic lineup of Anthrax too. Have seen them 4x in the last 2 years! Get their new EP of covers. Pretty cool!
@Linkstrikesback If you think that they don't have stock of NSMB U and Lego City Undercover because they're not selling, you got to cut back on the glue dude. Besides the fact that these stores don't buy game stock via JIT (just in time). They have contractually bought these games a long time before. If they had em, they'd be out on the store floor. And if they had tons of em, you'd see them out on the floor in droves as well.
Regarding the games YOU are interested in, that's fine. I can totally appreciate that. But There are very few games I'm interested in on the PS3 right now (and yes I have 2 of them and 2 XBOX 360s) but I would be far removed if I said they were failures because they don't have what I want on them.
At the end of the day, NSMB U is one of those games that is STILL SELLING. And will continue to sell through the holidays. It just will. Whether you're a fan of it or not. It's already sold 1 or 2 million and is still sold out in a couple stores if not selling very well everywhere else. The same will be said of Lego City Undercover. Now, if you're only looking forward to Pikmin 3 and begrudgingly Mario 3D World, there are TONS of people (myself included) who are just as excited, if not more, for DK Country, Zelda Windwaker, 101, etc. That is about 5 times more games than I'm looking forward to on PS3 / PS4. It's just me. And probably a few more out there too.
The bottom line is these are all games that have their audience. And they will sell. Just because you don't like every one of them doesn't mean millions don't agree with you. And, most importantly, just because you only like two of these, it doesn't spell a death-knell for the Wii U. They have been making consoles longer than you've been alive. And they will continue to do so - whether they are in 1st place, 2nd place or 3rd place. I think Nintendo's Wii U will be just fine. Just have fun, buy the games you like, enjoy them and buy the games on the other system if you like them too. No big deal. just have fun!
BTW, the software slump cant be as bad as everyone is saying either. Just got a $50 gift card at Best Buy for fathers day and went to spend it. Went to 2 stores. All sold out of NSMB U, Lego City and very short on games like Ninja Gaiden, Tekken, Batman, etc... Nintendo doesnt need to be #1. But they will always be in the race and will always continue to bring content to please their consumers. This whole "race" concept is ridiculous and made to sell headlines and ad space. We as Nintendo fans and consumers have absolutely nothing to worry about. Wii U will be here and relevant for the rest of this generation - whether 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Unless you own stock in Nintendo, who cares? Just get to playing all hose games!
@Cyberbotv2 Id guess $299 for the Deluxe set. Not sure if they even will have the basic set anymore. But they MIGHT just to have a console at the $249 mark. Id look for the Deluxe set to include NSMB U or Lego City Undercover as well.
@Linkstrikesback No, Reggie is right. At about his time in the 3DS's introduction, they had just introduced the price drop and new games were coming out. Granted, the timing in this comparison is a month or two off. But the 3DS needed every bit of that first year - specifically the holiday season with the new pricing and great games in tow to make that figure. Wii U is ALMOST 7 months old.. the first year is not up yet. There are 5 months left, lots of new, great games the holiday rush with PS4 in scant supply and no one wanting an XB1 at $100 more than the PS4 and a price drop I predict in November left to come to help them close out the first year on the market.
@DreamDrop he was at E3 among the press and the floor. Just no keynote this year. We saw their keynote via Nintendo Direct. Same content, different venue
Well, its not exactly the same as the 3DS. The release of amazing 1st party games did have an effect. But it coincided with a price drop. Nintendo has recently said there will be no price drop. But there WILL be one in November or December when the other consoles are launched. My batting average on this stuff is pretty high so far!
I've VERY surprised at the negativity surrounding this game. I see a LOT of innovation here. The cat power-up is unlike any that we've seen before. It's fast, fluid and looks like it may have some combo type skills that introduces a bit of style to how you play with that power up. Also, no one is mentioning the whole "tossing" concept. This, to me is huge! Tossing a snowball from one player to another across the screen and then at an enemy, again, is huge! Imagine the gameplay mechanics this opens up? Why aren't any of these "journalists" picking this stuff up? This is new stuff! And lastly, this 3D perspective was last seen on a portable... once... How is it a "re-run"? And how can we talk about getting excited about Battlefield 4, Halo 5, Madden 25 (?!) and beat Marioland 3D up for appearing for the 2nd time, WITH new additions? Some people are just jaded know-it-alls...
OMG. Really? I didn't know Time was in the business of hiring middle-school journalists. In what universe does dumping support of the gamepad in order to save the console make ANY kind of practical, if not business sense? What an absolute rosebud this guys is. He should be ashamed of his public display of idiocy. Nintendo fan or not, that makes absolutely not one grain of sense. In any universe.
Genius. You know, I have wrote so many comments here and on IGN in defense and praise of Nintendo. It might sound like fanboy-ism, and I'm sure it appears that way. But I do own and enjoy all of the other consoles. However, one of THE biggest reasons that I love Nintendo is that they very simply KNOW the business. And they know business in it's purest form. They are in business to make money and they do so by listening to their consumers and providing what they want, while still managing to innovate. When they make mistakes or misread the market, they are very open with their mistakes. And with all humility, they set forth to fix them. I not only love the games and hardware that only THEY know how to make, but I love how they do business.
There is a reason why Nintendo are still in the race after 30 years. And proof that they will not be leaving the hardware space. I've said it 100 times before but hardware is a pillar of their company. And Moffitt said it perfectly; the marriage between hardware, software and Mario is something you simplay can't get on a phone or tablet or on another console.
Add that to his comments aimed squarely at MS in regards to satisfying consumers as their primary focus in light of the DRM / used-games debacle and my faith has never been stronger in the Nintendo brand. We may not have seen Metroid or Zelda Wii U. But we WILL get them! They WILL come! Until then, enjoy all the great games they showed this week!
I have to say, I love Nintendo. Watching their executive team and developers show their enthusiasm, you can tell it's so genuine. In an E3 that was full of snake-oil salesmen and too-cool-for-school dude-bro games, it is so refreshing to see the "fun" is still very much alive in video gaming. Thank you Nintendo!
Ha!!! I knew there would be more! I'm just waiting on new info on the object throwing mechanic. I think there's more to it than was demoed. Yesterday we saw a snowball tossed from one player to another. And then finally tossed at a bad guy. I think there's more to this play mechanic. Very excited to see more of this and more power-ups in the coming weeks!

@unrandomsam I would LOVE to see a new hand-drawn HD 2D Mario. But with no paper, crayons or yarn gimicks. Just good old fashioned and crafted 2D sprites (like the new Rayman). Re: Nintendo Defends Influx of New Mario Titles
@mbarnhart Nicely said. I totally agree
Re: Nintendo Defends Influx of New Mario Titles
BTW, as much as I love Mario, if they would have released another 2D NSMB, I think even I'd start to get cranky. I agree with the Nintendo exec in that SM3DW, to me at least, IS new. I personally see a lot of innovation in terms of gameplay in the little I've seen! I can't wait to play it. And the new Mario & Luigi is just more of a series that I can never get enough of (and they are spaced out fairly well). The new Paper Mario had it's own innovation. So I'm good!
Re: Nintendo Defends Influx of New Mario Titles
Re: You Can Now Pre-Order a Copy of Soul Saga on Wii U For Only $15
Very simple when the author changed it in response to my post. Read the whole thread in order.
Re: EA: We're Not Writing Off Wii U
Re: You Can Now Pre-Order a Copy of Soul Saga on Wii U For Only $15
@Superconsole No problem! Thanks for making the change and keeping your integrity as high as we've come to expect it
Re: You Can Now Grab a Copy of Soul Saga on Wii U For Only $15
Wow... talk about a very misleading headline... Nintendo Life, you guys are skating very close to online rags like Wii U Daily... Not only does it sound like it's available for download now - but it won't be at all if the goal is not met. And so far it's not been met. Please don't diminish your credibility for button clicks...
Re: Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Download Needs 6,789 of Your 3DS Blocks
Absolutely cannot wait for this game! Day one, cart purchase. With games like this, Zelda and DK, my 3DS will be busy. On the shelf, my poor Vita... it's only salvation is the upcoming Ys...
Re: Capcom Teases More Mega Virtual Console Releases
Would absolutely LOVE a new classic Mega Man done in HD like NSMB U or DK Country returns (like ricklongo above). And its gotta be Mega Man. Not X or 0 or Y or Z. Just PDQ, please!
Re: Molyneux: Nintendo Is "Brilliant" At Attracting Players, But Their Hardware "Gets In The Way"
@AlexSays I'm all for people sharing their opinions on here. But when you started putting people's opinions down and started picking arguments earlier on in this thread, you should be ready to finish it. Don't feign disinterest when you know you've just had it handed to you.
Re: Molyneux: Nintendo Is "Brilliant" At Attracting Players, But Their Hardware "Gets In The Way"
@AlexSays
Re: Molyneux: Nintendo Is "Brilliant" At Attracting Players, But Their Hardware "Gets In The Way"
@AlexSays Dude, you have absolutely no concept of development whatsoever.
Re: Molyneux: Nintendo Is "Brilliant" At Attracting Players, But Their Hardware "Gets In The Way"
@LDXD This is the most basic and most accurate response that anyone need to know. You are 100% on the money. 'Nough said!
Re: Molyneux: Nintendo Is "Brilliant" At Attracting Players, But Their Hardware "Gets In The Way"
@Kaihaku Exactly.
Re: Molyneux: Nintendo Is "Brilliant" At Attracting Players, But Their Hardware "Gets In The Way"
@Yorumi Nice!
Re: Molyneux: Nintendo Is "Brilliant" At Attracting Players, But Their Hardware "Gets In The Way"
@mike_intv Absolutely correct. Good point!
Re: Molyneux: Nintendo Is "Brilliant" At Attracting Players, But Their Hardware "Gets In The Way"
@JQuest Absolutely, 100% correct.
Re: Molyneux: Nintendo Is "Brilliant" At Attracting Players, But Their Hardware "Gets In The Way"
@AlexSays Why?
Re: Molyneux: Nintendo Is "Brilliant" At Attracting Players, But Their Hardware "Gets In The Way"
@mike_intv Exactly!
Re: Molyneux: Nintendo Is "Brilliant" At Attracting Players, But Their Hardware "Gets In The Way"
I'm getting sick of people like this who just like to hear themselves talk.
Nice.
Re: Nintendo's Charlie Scibetta Explains the Benefits of Developers Running the Company
LOL! Sheeple...
Re: Reggie: This Holiday Season Is Going To Be Extremely Strong For Wii U
@GiftedGimp Nice article you linked to. I think he was saying that people have about as much chance of seeing Zelda on PS3 as they do Baynetta 2 or The 101. He's right. They are a developer - not a publisher. Nintendo paid them to develop those two games. No way in hell that Nintendo will sell the rights to publish those 2 games for competing systems.
Re: Reggie: This Holiday Season Is Going To Be Extremely Strong For Wii U
Re: Reggie: This Holiday Season Is Going To Be Extremely Strong For Wii U
@GearsOfWarU Thanks dude! Check out www.aceshighlv.com for some more video too.
Oh yeah! I'm going to the show in Vegas. Megadeth will be there too. I've been traveling to see them for years. The best roadtrip I've taken was to see them at Twickenham (The Twix) stadium in the UK in 2008. Frikkin awesome. Old guys RULE! LOL!
LOVE this classic lineup of Anthrax too. Have seen them 4x in the last 2 years! Get their new EP of covers. Pretty cool!
Re: Reggie: This Holiday Season Is Going To Be Extremely Strong For Wii U
Re: Reggie: This Holiday Season Is Going To Be Extremely Strong For Wii U
@GearsOfWarU Most def! Check out facebook/aceshighlv. It's my Maiden tribute band. Just for fun, on the side
Re: Reggie: This Holiday Season Is Going To Be Extremely Strong For Wii U
Re: Reggie: This Holiday Season Is Going To Be Extremely Strong For Wii U
@Cyberbotv2 Id guess $299 for the Deluxe set. Not sure if they even will have the basic set anymore. But they MIGHT just to have a console at the $249 mark. Id look for the Deluxe set to include NSMB U or Lego City Undercover as well.
Re: Reggie: This Holiday Season Is Going To Be Extremely Strong For Wii U
Re: Reggie: This Holiday Season Is Going To Be Extremely Strong For Wii U
@DreamDrop he was at E3 among the press and the floor. Just no keynote this year. We saw their keynote via Nintendo Direct. Same content, different venue
Re: Reggie: This Holiday Season Is Going To Be Extremely Strong For Wii U
@GearsOfWarU except for XB1. There will not be any shortages. Pre orders have already dropped off sharply while PS3 continues to pre-order very well.
Re: Reggie: This Holiday Season Is Going To Be Extremely Strong For Wii U
Well, its not exactly the same as the 3DS. The release of amazing 1st party games did have an effect. But it coincided with a price drop. Nintendo has recently said there will be no price drop. But there WILL be one in November or December when the other consoles are launched. My batting average on this stuff is pretty high so far!
Re: First Impressions: Super Mario 3D World
I've VERY surprised at the negativity surrounding this game.
Re: Time: Nintendo Is "Stumped" By The Wii U GamePad And Should Ditch It
OMG.
Re: Interview: Zelda Producer Eiji Aonuma Talks DLC, Missing Dungeons And Majora's Mask
@Dreamcaster-X The ultimate Easter Egg hunt!
Re: Interview: Zelda Producer Eiji Aonuma Talks DLC, Missing Dungeons And Majora's Mask
@Dreamcaster-X Yes, and it's not even a matter of whether they feel like it or not. They've been used in other games. D'oh!
Re: Reggie: Publishers Should Create Great Games To Stem The Impact Of Used Game Sales
Re: Nintendo's Scott Moffitt - Upcoming Wii U Lineup Will "Ignite Sales"
Re: Video: Nintendo Releases Its E3 Wrap-Up
I have to say, I love Nintendo.
Re: Frog Suit Confirmed For Super Mario 3D World
