So that's your lot for this week's North American Nintendo Download. Go on, be a sport and drop a vote in the poll above, and comment below with your hot picks!
Thanks for the run down, Alana.
I'm going to pick up Advance Wars and Coffee Talk 2.
Looks like I’m the first to vote… and 100% of us (me) is getting Advance Wars! 😂
Nothing for me this week as Dead Island 2 is coming out then there's Star Wars next week too. I played Aliens Fireteam Elite on Steam Deck by myself on the hardest difficulty and had a blast with it, it's hard though by yourself. Nice that Switch Players can now experience it on the move.
And Best Switch Game Title goes to... opens envelope ...Racing in Car!
I've waited for Advance Wars for way too long. I hope this does well so we get the DS games too.
Also the FF collection via PlayAsia
Just Advance Wars until Xenoblade drops.
"Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord (Dnc Games, 14th Apr, $5.99) - Get ready for an exciting and competitive drone race in this drone racing game for Nintendo Switch™! Control your own drone and compete against other players in a series of speed races in stunning 3D environments. Play alone or with friends to compete in an exciting drone race. With stunning 3D graphics and intuitive controls, this game is an exciting experience for all the racing and drone game lovers."
Umm... think you might want to edit this entry.
Either the description for Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord is incorrect or I was very mistaken in what I thought the game was about.
@nhSnork Not just racing in car! "Racing in Car: Night Traffic Highway Driving Games Mechanic Simulator 2023 for Kids!"
Shadows of Loathing at $23...is there a reason they went with an odd price? Like some little easter egg?
The only game I'm really interested in here is DNF Duel. But only after I read some legit fighting game personalities talk on it.
It's funny how all of a sudden multiple fighting games are coming out all at once. It is odd how Street Fighter, and SF alone, makes every publisher try to piggyback on Capcom's monolith. I am so pumped for that game I can barely stand it.
Preordered Advance Wars physically, will eventually get Afterimage, Tin Hearts and Trinity Trigger for sure, maybe also Shadows Over Loathing, Teslagrad 2, Coffee Talk Episode 2 (haven't played the previous games of these three yet), Fairy Fencer F, Mangavania and Molly Medusa!
I will get advance wars but lots to go on the wishlist. I just got Like six other games, Zelda is on the way and story of seasons is on the way. I’m booked for the rest of the year. As usual BF is gonna be expensive. My wishlist backlog is getting stacked.
I didn't pre-order any games this week. But I couldn't resist the temptation to pre-order the Zelda OLED system from Best Buy last night. Another Switch system is the last thing I should be buying, but I can't help it. This should (hopefully) be my last Nintendo console until a next gen Nintendo system comes out...
For Arcade Archives, so we get Cosmo Gang: The Video, a game that is like Galaga but cuter.
It's a shock that Namco didn't release the Super Famicom port in the west (with a Galaga reskin), as they did to the puzzle game to turn it into Pac-Attack.
And good to see that by the DS era, Namco had canonized Dig Dug as the jerk he is. I wonder if Dig Dug II could have had inspiration by the Bugs Bunny cartoon where he just cuts Florida off the US, sinking it. That's basically Dug Dug II's gameplay.
Ahh, it'll be (hopefully) lovely to finally get to play Afterimage after Kickstarting it a year ago. Will probably be the last game I play before Zelda.
Teslagrad 2 is a definite buy for me. I just need to see reviews to decide whether I'm getting it on Switch or Steamdeck.
Afterimage has my attention. Sounds like my kind of game.
What game is the white haired girl from?
@hel105 I giggled when I read the description and saw your comment, haha.
I am not really planning on purchasing any games this week, but the only one that I would be remotely interested in from the looks of this list is Shadows Over Loathing. Most of the other games wouldn't hold my interest.
Vroom in the night sky flashbacks.
