The highly anticipated remake for 1994's Live A Live is just around the corner, due for release on July 22nd (that's next week, folks - not long!). To celebrate, Square-Enix has shared a 'Final Trailer' for the game on its YouTube channel.
The video showcases the game's various settings and time periods, along with the characters and enemies you're going to be encountering. There's a hefty glimpse at some of the combat too, but keep in mind you can try this out for yourself right now with the demo.
In our recent hands-on with the game, we said that you shouldn't go into Live A Live expected anything majorly different from the original SNES title, as the remake remains exceptionally faithful. What it does, however, is give the title a new lease of life with gorgeous visuals and a fascinating structure.

Let us know in the comments what you make of the final trailer and whether you'll be picking up Live A Live when it launches next week!

It’s a sin that this game releases a mere week before Xenoblade 3. Who came up with that idea?
I hope I’m alive to see FF6 remade in this style.
@YoshiF2 if that's what you're thinking? Then October says Hi.
@Rpg-lover October is gonna be packed too. I gotta replay Bayonetta 1&2 in September to get ready for the third!
At 14 seconds mark in the trailer: it's Kazuma Kiryu!
Can't wait to play this game, but Xenoblade 3 takes priority.
Please understand, Square Enix.
The demo for this was far better than I expected. i was getting the game anyway, but the demo made me far more excited for this game for sure.
This and Digimon Survive will keep me busy over summer for sure.
I am pumped for this, and then Xenoblade is right after. What a time to be Live A Live!
I want Bahamut Lagoon and Treasure Hunter G please
@YoshiF2 can you imagine if they did Chrono Trigger like this?
or Super Mario RPG?
I can't wait for DQ3
It looks SO GOOD. I can't wait to put my hands on it!
I really want to grab this day one, but releasing a mere week before Xenoblade Chronicles 3 means I'll have no way of finishing it before that launches....
Sure, already decided to buy this game but okay, let's watch more trailers 😃
Stayed away from this almost in it's entirety - saw the original trailer when announced, haven't followed it much, and haven't played the demo...
I think what I saw in the reveal was almost enough to persuade me to get this - just waiting for those review scores to come in and see if it's as highly rated as people are giving it praise for.
Hey did you guys know that this releases one week before Xenoblade 3? Not many people know that.
Ya just have to buy both Xenoblade 3 and Live A Live and do alternate sessions between them
Is this game also coming for pc?
Blacking out on all trailers and news til release. Played the demo for about ten minutes and must say this is everything everyone is saying. Can’t wait! This and Stray shall be dominating my late July gaming
Being a week away from XB3 isn’t bad. There is already a demo with save progress transfer so completing Live a Live will be even shorter to finish before XB3 drops unless your someone that is on like a 1-2 games per month budget or something
Digimon Survive on the other hand…
Excited for this. Terranigma really needs an official western release as it was awesome to play even tho being so dated. The 16 bit Era was so awesome!
@MJF I was also wondering already after Octopath, why they don't do a remake of Chrono Trigger. My only guess would be, that they are planning something "bigger" like FF7 Remake for Chrono. I'm sure we will see it again, question is WHEN?
@Jcdbengals I have a western cartridge of Terranigma. It was released in Europe...
