Point and click adventure The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle is coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop, it has been revealed.
The episodic series made its debut in 2015 on PC with Episode 1: A Dreadly Business. The second episode - A Bleaker Predicklement - launched in 2017.
Oddly, the port to Switch has been revealed via the Japanese eShop. The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle Episide 1 will arrive in Japan on March 29th, costing 500 Yen. Interestingly, it will feature English language support, so we'd expect the announcement of a western release to follow very soon.
Here's some PR:

Great news! It's some really clever and funny people working on this.
And it's not odd at all that it arrives through Japan. The creator is married to a Japanese woman and has many ties with the Japanese games industry.
I've never heard of it before. It seems okay and makes me want a proper Professor Layton game on the Switch.
Looks dumb
Looks good. I hope it will make its way to the NA eShop soon.
The Switch eShop is going to reach 1000 games by the end of 2018. Insane
For me it depends if it has gyro aiming or not.
Why have the sequel when you can have the original? I'm sure it too will be ported over, in time. 500 Yen is roughly €3.80. What's the bet that it'll be rounded up to €5 in the West(which is the Steam price)? I see you can buy buy it for your smartphone for €1. Cheaper, no waiting for a Switch release and it's a touch controlled smartphone game so the Switch offers no benefits.
And when you get on to the sequel, if it comes to Switch, the price difference is even greater. It's likely to be €15(Steam price), it's €4.50 on smartphone.
I'm interested. Especially for that price!
Could be fun!
