The Japanese marketing campaign for The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes has already veered towards the odd, and now Nintendo is pushing out TV spots to promote the upcoming release - and they're just as amusing.
The two commercials shown so far feature a trio of real-world Japanese chaps (we're assuming they're famous in their homeland - feel free to let us know if you can name them) who act out a scene from the game at the start before the gameplay footage kicks in.
Check them out below and let us know what you think by posting a comment.
Tri Force Heroes launches in North America and Europe on October 23rd. You can check out our preview here.

Huh, I must have missed something.
I never know this game has download play!
@Dawn-Shade It's great that the game has download play, but what's a bit of a bummer is that, you NEED three players to do local co-op. This makes sense because the game functions best with three players, but I was hoping you could also do two-player co-op, with the third character being a clone type figure (similar to the ones in single player).
Had a secret love for link
..... Until I saw him red green and blue at the beginning....
@Chubblings Great! Thats no big deal since I have two brothers with their own 3DS in my house.
I am so happy to hear that this game will have download play, now I just need to invite a 3DS owning friend to play with my wife and I. This makes things way easier than having to find someone that owns the game as well. AND I don't need to buy two copies which will be really nice on my wallet.
Lol, voice-acting confirmed!
