As part of a sustained campaign to raise awareness of the Wii U and 3DS libraries, Nintendo UK has been taking its Nintendo Unleashed tour to various expos, events and locations, including a major presence at the recent Eurogamer Expo. The company has now confirmed its lineup for this week's MCM London Comic Con (25th to 27th October at London’s ExCeL – Royal Victoria Dock), which will be the last stop of this year's tour.
The recently released 2DS will be available for hands-on time, which is once again being targeted towards children and families. There'll also — more importantly — be plenty of games, details below.
Wii U
Sonic Lost World
Bayonetta 2
Super Mario 3D World
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
Mario Kart 8
Spin the Bottle: Bumpie's Party
3DS and 2DS
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Sonic Lost World
Pokémon X and Pokémon Y
Putty Squad
SteamWorld Dig
Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi
Nintendo is also promising prizes through various activities, as well as multiplayer opportunities for those that bring along their 3DS — or even a 2DS, naturally.
Are you planning to go to MCM London Comic Con, and are you keen to try our any games in particular? Let us know in the comments below.

Nintendo better be ready to market the Wii U like hell...now that DK got delayed, they have to rely on Mario to pull them out of their misery for this Christmas. I don't doubt Nintendo, but it's pretty obvious that the Wii U needs some serious marketing.
Wot no W101? That's the best game on Wii U
Spin the bottle baby!
Thats it nintendo, Raise awareness of the wiiu by going to gaming conventions only gamers that already know about wiiu go to! Well played bangs head on desk
Dear Nintendo, I an officially taking over as head of your marketing department.......remember how you advertised Wii EVERYWHERE......Yeah, we are going back to that.
Uh, did I miss something...Mario Party 3DS doesn't exist anymore?........and where's that Yoshi 3DS game?
@Marshi Comic Con is not a gaming event, gaming is not even one of the main attractions. Its more like a pop culture event with some cos-play thrown in for good measure. I'll be at this event so hopefully its not crowded and I get some time with Bayonetta 2.
I'ld completely forgotten about Bayonetta 2. Maybe it's far enough along that they can get it out while everybody is waiting for W_D.
How long have they been using that UNLEASHED logo? It's looks really good, and the system is called the Wii U. It bothered me when Godzilla Unleashed and Sonic Unleashed both came out the same year but Nintendo has to try something, might as well appeal to the heavy metal crowd.
The only thing missing from the Unleashed pic is Reggie double punching his was through a brick wall
@hwrose379 what misery?
@hwrose379
I think they're trying to avoid a repeat of winter 2013. Remember back in January when people were freaking out because no games were in the pipeline for 3 months? And Nintendo had to resort to showing off their top development projects in that January Direct just so people wouldn't lose faith? Yeah, they don't want to go through THAT again. With DKC in Feb, nobody will be whining in Jan about no games coming. The Wii U onslaught will take a slight breather after the holidays, then resume full speed once again with DKC in Feb, followed by Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta and Smash. Then E3 we'll see the new Zelda, and in the fall we'll hopefully be getting Monolith Soft's X and SMT x Fire Emblem, with a few as-of-yet unannounced surprises of course
@X-Factor Mario Party: Island Tour still exists...it was delayed in the UK but it is still scheduled for release here in the US on Nov. 22...yet we still know hardly anything about it. As for Yoshi's New Island...meh where's Yarn Yoshi?????
@JaxonH Oh gosh that January Direct was a nice surprise, but it totally backfired in the long run because it's now clear that most of those games are coming next year. I have total faith in 3D World...it's a 3D Mario, what could go wrong (plus the second trailer shot the anticipated epicness level up by 500%)? I suspect they'll host another major Direct in either December or January to announce release dates for early 2014 games, such as DKC:TF and Mario Kart 8. E3 next year is bound to be big...I'm already looking forward to it. I don't care if they do a press conference or a Direct (I actually preferred the Direct over a conference. It was quick and to the point with no long annoying demos), as long as they blow the lid off of all of the projects they're currently working on. I see the Wii U making a revival.
@hwrose379 Maybe they will show some Mario Party in the next Nintendo Direct(they better!).
Lol Yeah, I do prefer Yarn Yoshi.
Remember how everyone hated "Super Mario 3D World" at E3 and now everyone wants it? Same thing's going to happen to "Yoshi's New Island". I wondered what happen to Yoshi's old island since its says NEW island.
@baba_944 I never really liked any of the Yoshi Island games, so they better do something really significant. I'm looking forward to Yarn Yoshi tho
gonna be there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 (Hopefully)
