With a shade over two months until we hit the Wii U information motherlode at E3, Wii's time is just about over. While the mainstream will likely remember it for introducing motion control and kickstarting the party and fitness game crazes, Nintendo UK wants you to think fondly of its contributions to the adventure and roleplaying genres.
This new trailer below packages four of the Wii's best late-in-the-day games: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower. The console doesn't have many more games like this ahead of it, so this is another step towards a farewell to Wii.
North America gets to take on the second game in this awesome foursome next week with Xenoblade Chronicles.

The Wii's last four epics, I'll pick them up later (if Pandora's Tower makes it to America) and play them on Wii U...I want my Wii back =_=
Eh, should have used more than one quote for each game, and it's really embarrassing that they didn't put up a score for the The Last Story trailer; which shows that the game didn't get as high score as they wanted.
@Koto Pandora's Tower is already considered an epic? And Dragon Quest X isn't? Explain yourself.
I'm going to pass on Xenoblade. Xenogears and Xenosaga were both really dull. I might rent it though.
@Gamesake Renting won't do you much good, unless its to try before you might buy. It took me about 94 hours to get through, and I missed a significant set of side quests. In case you didn't get this from the fact that I played it for 94 hrs: I thought it was really good.
British accents make everything better.
"Xenoblade Chronicles" is one of my favourite video games... EVER!
I like that trailer. Can't wait for next week to finally get to experience xenoblade for myself. It will probably take me 6 months to beat LOL!
Nice to see Nintendo still promoting The Last Story and the other games.
Can't wait to play this game and last story this summer. I hope pandora's tower comes to the states as well. I actually prefer pandora's tower over the other two traditional rpgs.
Since I don't have a 3ds or any other system besides a wii, I believe xenoblade and last story should take up my time nicely until the wii u comes out.
@Gamesake I have to say though that Xenogears and Xenosaga have little in common with Xenoblade. The games are not part of the same franchise. Xenoblade was originally going to be titled Monado, but the name was changed to honour the creator of the Xeno games, or something along those lines.
its a shame that these games took so long to come out on the wii. we could have used some high profile rpg's when the system was in its 2nd or 3rd year. that would have definitely combat all the crappy shovelware that was being pushed on the system in those years. i hope the wii u will learn from this and bring out some excellent rpg's in its 1st years..
I've got the epic Xenoblade chronicles, I'm hoping to get The last story for my birthday on the 11th April and I'll definitely get Pandora's tower at some point too. I also haven't got Skyward sword yet but I'd like to beat some of the other Zelda games first.
Cool commercial!
@Gamesake I can promise you Xenoblade doesn't fall apart. Right at the VERY end I had a little fatigue and gave up on the final sidequests, but its one of the few RPGs to keep me engrossed from start to finish.
Now that's what NoA SHOULD be doing. But they're too dumb. sigh
@LonelyGreyWolf #3
Explain how personal opinion shared mutually between all humans.
This trailer is ultra cool
@Stuffgamer1
I completely agree. NoA should be trying to push these games big time...... but you know.... with the push for Wii Music and all.........
@Gamesake
Believe me, Xenoblade is NOTHING like either of those games, except for a few story elements you would only see if you were a big fan of Xenogears and Xenosaga, it is an RPG and the first four letters. If you want to rent it first, go ahead, but I am almost certian you will want to say
these four are examples of what nintendo should have done with the wii with the start... damn party games.
sweet commercial, im ready for the last 3, or at least the last 2. i already have skyward sword, pre ordered and picking up xenoblade chronicles this week, pre ordered the last story, and i will probably end up picking up pandora's tower if it comes out in the Americas. cant wait!
So, Xenoblade isn't like Gears or Saga, what is it like? I'm really tempted, but FF:CC:TCB is one of the worst JRPG's I've ever played. I was so glad when it was over and only 12 hours. The only other JRPG I felt so bad about was Vagrant Story - which was in retrospect a good game, but I was too hyped for it, and it wasn't a JRPG. Which is why I won't get Pandora's Tower b/c it sounds like a dungeon grind game. I love the Grandia series but I never played Xtreme for that reason.
On an unrelated note - I've only played Skyward Sword - but it looks to be the weakest of the 4, though not a truly fair comparison b/c it's an adventure game an not a JRPG.
@Squid And they make every thing sound so proper: they call their ciggarettes "fags" and it sounds normal
Thats whats up !
