Original Article: Nintendo has unveiled a special Splatoon 3-themed Switch OLED console that looks perfect for fans of the series – and anyone who just wants to add a seriously cool Switch to their collection. The special edition console launches on August 26th 2022, with a gorgeous new Splatoon 3 Pro Controller and carry case coming a little later on September 9th. We'll be featuring all the links you need to get your hands on them in this very guide.

Look folks I doubt we are going to get a Pro, if we don't see it before Breath of the Wild 2 then we will be waiting for Switch 2.

I agree with you both, I adore the look of it and the colours along with the general design elements for it but don't like Splatoon.
The same went for the splatoon 2 pro controller, but this one comparatively is disappointing, it just isn't bright or lary enough.
I might buy this, but if Nintendo comes out with some kind of "switch pro" or something after I'm gonna be pissed. I'm not sure if they will its just kind of in the back of my mind.
@rockodoodle So far the only way to get them are with the console. I personally doubt that they will release them separately due to it being a "special edition" console.

So far my PreOrder for Splatoon3 Consoles are currently at Amazon EU and UK Splatoon3 controller. But Both sites are now SOLD OUT. Glad I Preordered when I saw them. Still waiting for a NA release but very doubtful at this point. Was told from retailer I shop for my Switch games it will be first come first get at their store since they haven't gotten any info how to PreOrder and if they do they will tell me but so far NOA hasn't said anything.

@PuppyToucher Same here but I placed PreOrder on UK and FR Amazon as a safety measure. But hope to get a NA first but the release dates are so close that just messes one up since they all say Aug. 26 release. Not good.....

@SwitchplayerJohn @acNewUpdates This is the rare case it's not just special edition stuff. It has a 2-tone gradient on the color plus a screen print on top of that. It definitely had to go through extra machines for that which isn't free. The regular shell is just solid color injection mold, so it actually does cost more (maybe a lot more) to apply this finish.
The 2-tone gradient doesn't look like paint so they had to inject two colored plastics into the mold which is more of a process or a different mold machine, and then the screen print goes on top.

@SwitchForce preorders for NA live for a few hours now, best of luck! Walmart and target still seem to have some, other places sold out
Target stores are your best option at this point. Both Best Buy and GameStop sold out very quickly. But I found several in the Targets around me and scheduled an in store pickup

Should be called Splatoon 2.5. Maps are small and uninspired and there are little to no changes from Splatoon 2. Disappointment

Really want those Joycons and Pro controller. However, the OLED and its dock look really cool.
