Pokémon Scarlet & Violet have changed up how TMs (Technical Machines) work once again. While the move-teaching items have returned to being one-use, you'll never have to spend your Poké Dollars ever again to find them as you can now craft them!

There's an enormous amount of TMs to find in Paldea — 171 to be exact, with more added in the DLC — and these are scattered around the world. Once you've got a TM in your possession, you can craft it, so finding as many of these as possible means you have an endless supply of TMs in your hands.

In this guide, we'll be showing you how to craft TMs (including TM recipes from The Teal Mask DLC and The Indigo Disk DLC), as well as all TM recipes and a list of locations and where to find TMs.

IMPORTANT! If you'd prefer to sort by TM number or TM name, click here to skip to the TM Recipe table at the bottom of the page.

All TM Locations

We've broken up all TM locations by Province, and by Area, within each section. As there are so many TMs to discover in the Paldea region, we've split these up into separate pages. These are all sorted by location with reference images.

How To Craft TMs

Crafting TMs is really easy, and you can start making them as soon as you hit your first Pokémon Center.

To make a TM, you need to head to one of the many Centers located around Paldea. Every Pokémon Center has a TM Machine, which is located on the green side of the counter (far left or right, depending on what side you're approaching from.

When you interact with the Machine, select 'I want a TM Made' to bring up the crafting menu. You'll see recipes for every single TM you have owned, along with the resources and LP (League Points) you need to make the item. If you haven't collected the resources before, you'll see ??? until you have picked up the item at least once. You'll earn LP by progressing through Starfall Street, as well as completing Tera Raids.

If you have enough items and LP to make the TM, you'll see a green button with the world 'Craftable' on the TM image. Select it, and the amount you want to make, and that's your TM created. There's no limit to how many you can create — if you've got the ingredients, you can make however many you'd like!
