Review The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Wii U)
Link's latest adventure in its natural home
We've been playing a lot of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, mostly on Nintendo Switch. Yet not everyone is buying into Nintendo's latest hardware yet, and there have been plenty of fair questions around how this game shapes up on its original home - the Wii U. After all, this title was announced...

Guide Zelda: Breath Of The Wild: All Shrine Locations And Maps
Time to bulk up your hearts and stamina
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an incredible game, both in terms of critical acclaim and sheer size. Few aspects of Link's latest sprawling adventure exemplify this as well as the sheer number of shrines - miniature dungeons focused solely on puzzle solving. Finding all of the shrines in Breath of...

Guide Zelda: Breath Of The Wild: Tarrey Town Quest
From the ground up
It's amazing how much of the content included in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is entirely optional and can easily be missed on your first playthrough if you're not exploring off the beaten track. One of the coolest optional features involves the construction of an entire town as part of the "From the Ground Up" side...
Guide Zelda: Breath Of The Wild: How To Get The Hylian Shield
It's dangerous to go alone
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (BotW) is almost gleeful in the way it casts aside the traditions of the series to present an open-world adventure unlike any other. Not only is protagonist Link relieved of his signature green tunic and iconic hat (at least by default, anyway), the famous Maste

Guide Zelda: Breath Of The Wild: Sha Warvo Shrine Solution
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind
How many shrines must a man hunt down, before he can defeat an ancient evil composed of pure malice, returned from a ten-thousand year slumber with calamitous consequences? “It depends”, is one answer we imagine Bob Dylan could give to this question, if he wasn’t so quick to defer to the wind...

Deep in the Lost Woods, the stars have all the answers

Random Ever Wondered What Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Looks Like Without Cel-Shading?
No? Well it's something like this...
Zelda: Breath of the Wild may not be running on cutting-edge hardware – even by 2017 standards – but it's still one phenomenally good-looking video game, and proves that aesthetic brilliance doesn't always have to go hand-in-hand with graphical muscle. The game's mix of sprawling 3D environments and...

Preview Immersing Ourselves in the World of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
A potential game changer
Nintendo faced a big challenge when developing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Primarily a Wii U project, since Summer 2014 series producer Eiji Aonuma has spoken of the most ambitious title yet in the franchise, of an open world that's truly alive and fantastical. Some remarked that we'd heard bold statements...
Hands On How Will the "Open World" Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Suit a Traditional Gamer?
Anthony Dickens feels too old to play in a sandbox
I'd consider myself to be quite a traditional gamer; I tend to prefer games that have a simple core structure and a finite length. Now in my 30's I've found that whilst getting older has many benefits it has also restricted the amount of time I spent playing games, typically an hour or two here and...

Hands On Wide-Open Wanderlust in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Legendary
Instead of the open-floor plan filled with dozens of demo kiosks we've come to expect from its showings, Nintendo's booth at E3 this year looked rather different, featuring a single space shielded from the rest of the showfloor and dedicated to a single game: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. While it may have seemed like an odd...

Neat tag for this game. Yes this is awesome and does have.... swords (heh, duh). I can't wait for this. I can't find a word to describe my immeasurable excitement for this. New gameplay and strong visuals makes this worth being impatient for!
You guys might as well just post the score right now.
10/10
My body is ready!
@Codyshelby Blasphemy! Infinite/10! XD
They better bring Moosh back in this one!!
A screenshot of this game or the title would be nice for e3.
WOOT WOOT! Another reason to get the Wii U!!!
This is going to be SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!! By the end of 2014, the Wii U will be the best console in existence! Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, FRICKEN SMASH BROOOOS BABY, Wind Waker HD, Yarn Yoshi, Nintendo Land, Mario Kart 8, X... I swear I could go on forever!
My Body Is Ready.
heh i love zelda games
I have to get this but why 2015 why not this year but I hope its as good as skyword sword
Where's the proof this comes out in 2015?
@NintendoCat14
It's just the expected release year, it hasn't been officially announced yet.
Oh my GOD i can't wait to play that game oh GOD GOD GOD GOD huh.
@NintendoCat14 Bro nintendo is posting this.
@Musashi LOL my cousin says that a lot!!!! XD
I hope the release date gets pushed back to 2014 but Nintendo has a habit of seperating new games in a series by 2 or 3 years. Example: Mariokart 7: 2011, Mariokart 8: 2014. Zelda Skyward Sword: 2011, Zelda ALBW: 2013.
I just want them to take as long as they need.
"A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad."
God I love Shigeru Miyamoto.
People will buy Wii U's just for this game....
Lol this game better not suck as much as Skyward Sword. Nintendo had better pull their heads out their asses. Console Zeldas have been trash since after Windwaker.
@NintendoCat14 At the end of the teaser trailer it literally just says 2015. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHEECedZXOw
Gressil, Skyward sword was awesome.
@Gressil I thought Twilight Princess was quite good. But Skyward Sword was quite disappointing. It had a lot of dull colors and the graphics were a bit grainy as well, plus Link was a Righty (unfortunately it looks like he'll be a Righty again in this one, despite in Super Smash Bros and Hyrule Warriors where he's back being a Lefty).
@pigwarts5ever That was posted last year.
GIVE IT TO ME NOW OH MY GOD IT HURTS WHY CAN'T IT BE 2015 ALREADY THIS IS KILLING ME
D: I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED it now.
Because they want it to be as great as possible and that takes time
@NintendoCat14 Nintendo e3 direct
Just cause link shot the now that way doesn't mean any thing. His domanant eye is his right eye. He could still be a leftie. I prefer right hand though
WHO CARES IF HES A LEFTIE OR RIGHTIE
Zelda game as big as skyrim and hd it dont matter the longer they take the better. just sayin Sony,Microsoft, good luck topping this game. they have 3rd gen consoles Nintendo still has a 2.5 gen lol
He's the greatest warrior in the history of Hyrule..., of course He's ambidextrous.
I think zelda wii u 2015 will be really awsome I played all the games this one will be the best so fare in my opinion.
Yes. Just yes. When I insert the disc into the system, I promise to come back here and reply to this comment.
Does anyone know if this game is for sure going to be on the Wii U? Or are they going to move it to a newer system because of the delay?
Why is this game listed under E3 2015 games? I thought Legend of zelda U would skip a year?
I thought it's been announced this game is a no show this year. Am I wrong about that?
@ShanaUnite @ottospooky @KodyDawg I'd say there is a strong chance it will manifest itself at E3, in one form or another, regardless of what they said. It's one of the most wanted for Wii U, and it could very much help the WiiU case, so it wouldn't make much sense not showing it at all. Maybe not in the digital event, but...
@Wolfgamer478 100% will be on Wii U, but maybe will be on next system too.
I wonder how many people are going to get the game then somehow break it in the process of putting it in the system .-.
so much wait .-.
I can't wait to add this to my collection of Zelda games
2016, and hopefully we finally get Zelda U.
It will probably be on both Wii U and NX, which will be great, this could be GotY. The long wait is nearly over guys!
Gosh I really want this game to come out! Can't wait!
With Twilight Princess HD here in March, I can't shake the feeling that this is a cast iron November/December 2016 release.
I'm a little late to the posting party for this, but I just have to say that if this game is really going to look like what it does in the pics and videos then I think it will be one of the best looking (as in graphically) games I have ever seen. Sure, I love my updated and powerful tech just as much as everyone else, but this game looks like it will blow everything else out of the water. This is how you make art. I am putting in my week vacation at work the second I find out when the release date is.
It has been revealed! Shame we have to wait until 2017.
on amazon its scheduled for a December 30th release (http://amzn.to/1Xs68An)
Just looking at comments and just saw how many people have been waiting since 2014... lol
Still looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
@Ron1212 Have you inserted the disc into your console yet?
This game has some Satanic/spiritualistic undertones for example Demon ruler, Goddes you pray to, resurrection etc. You have all been warned.
I like play without the DLC feature in the Wii U version, while playing with the DLC features in Switch version. (I never had OCD before, but I remember when playing the Switch version I would constandly use the Heros Path feature to actually keep track of actually walking everyone, and I mean everywhere...I stopped out of burn out in less than 25% of my goal.)
