...the upcoming Wii game from High Voltage Software, The Grinder?

It doesn't interest me. I think HVS should hype this one a little less.

EDIT: It says it controls like Left 4 Dead, which is undoubtedly a good thing. But I don't typically buy FPS's for Wii, unless they look mega good.

I just hope no one including IGN, some-what ruins this title with hype.
EDIT: They promised they'll have Chainsaws, Katanas, and Crossbows, other than the guns themselves in the game.

will it have online?

4 player co-op through several campaigns like seen in Left4Dead. And to have more multiplayer modes than seen in The Conduit.

I think this has potential to blow L4D out of the water, with more weapons, characters taht are different, not just cosmetically, and a wider monster choice

I'm looking forward to it, but have been burnt by The Conduit, so am avoiding getting too excited. Still hoping they pull it off though, could be really good.

Sounds great and when it's available to pre-order I'll be pre-ordering it. I do hope the single-player features good teammate AI as I like the squad-based stuff; online MP will also be nice I'm sure.

Hype won't ruin the title. HVS is perfectly capable of doing that on their own.

I don't get why everyone is so flustered by hype. Developers hype their games because they've got to eat. You hype and exaggerate the things on your resumé too because you've also got to eat. If you can sort out fact from fiction and think for yourself, then there is no reason why hype should bother you.

Very excited, but it's likely to be rated M, so I'll probably won't be able to play it, unless all it has is blood, gore, and violence, or blood, Suggestive Themes, and violence

I want it. I like FPSes. I enjoyed the Conduit.

I'm all over it. But, in the interest of full disclosure, I was all over The Conduit also, which, in some quarters here is a capital offense.

When some people (like most), believe hype they believe the hype. And when the game doesn't live up to the hype its a disappointment A.K.A. The Conduit.
Hoping no site such as IGN for instance(or even HVS itself), will hopefully not hype this one up like they did with The Conduit and possibly ruin it. And don't get me wrong a little hype is good in all but I'm just hope no one ruins this title

HOWEVER....if they even think about isong the same online servers on the grinder that the conduit had..i am staying well away.
the conduits online...broken. sorry...it ain't my connection as i play other wifi games perfectly. its broken and everytime i get a match i giltch and have to turn the wii off.

I've never had that happen, it does suck for folk that have had issues. I'm sure lessons will be learned and applied in any future online game from HVS.
