Here's what the reviewers had to say about Earth seeker: 20 to 30 hours to clear, 60 to 70 hours total play time. Crafts & Meister's long awaited Wii title. Reviewers praised the battle system because its fusion of action and command-based elements allows for non action players to enjoy themselves. There is low variation in weapons, though, and obtaining the materials for creating your own weapons is difficult. The story development is lacking, one reviewer complained. Another said that the battle system's weapon-based attacks and guardian attacks (guardians are the little creatures you recruit to fight along side you) don't fuse together well.

I also read that somewhere, and while there is clear mention of some of the games faults, it doesn't really give out enough information for me to form my own opinion... Obviously story and combat are crucial issues in an RPG, but the fact one reviewer gave it an 8 and two others a 6 is kind of confusing. Perhaps it just comes down to how much the issues mentioned bother you personally. If it comes to the west and is better received than Arc Rise Fantasia, I think I'll still be getting it.

Well, the Wii is almost dead. But I am still waiting for European release-dates of a few titles:

  • Skyward sword: Still penned for Holiday, but still no concrete date!
  • Pandora's tower: While I first thought it would come, I start fearing now that it stays in Japan.
  • Xenoblade chronicles: Not sure if I'll buy it, but has a massive scale.
  • Last story: Also don't know if I'll buy it.
  • Rayman origins: I really hope it won't be shoved to 2012, since the 3DS version is penned for 2012.
  • Bit trip complete: All bit trip games on 1 disc, with extra content. Cool.
  • Kirby Wii
  • Rhythm heaven Wii
  • Earth seeker: Very little change of coming to Europe/America, though it looked quite good on youtube.

I am also waiting for a European release-date for Proffesor Layton 4. It looks like that really will be the very last great DS game.

Nintendo, release a release-list with these titles on it (with concrete dates) and I am happy! The release-list from this years E3 was only about America (as far as I have seen) and only contained 3DS games (I don't have a 3DS yet) and DS games I mostly don't care about (with the exception of the new Kirby).

Update: Xenoblade chronicles now has a European release-date, namely 2 September!

I don't think it is yet still quite a bit of great games coming out.
