Hey, these thread is about discussion wich are the best in the one you (graphicaly?) give you like the best feel, the best atmosphere, you know what im talking about right?
I fell that in Sin and Punishment 2, the level 4 (the dream level) and the level 6(the lava level) were extreme well made, extreme awesome levels, some levels I can play again and again. I fell a really great atmosphere also at new super mario wii, the graphics are just beatiful, the backrunds are so nice, the animations, I really like how it is well made.
Those games were really awesome, Monster Hunter 3 (Tri) has some other nice stages, like when you are swimming in the water and... yeah in the water, thats my favourite atmoshpere of Monster Hunter.
Hmm... Punch-Out!! was great. FFCC: The Crystal Bearers had really good graphics too, but it was such a terrible game that it doesn't matter. I think games that take advantage of the Wii's limited graphic capabilities such as Red Steel 2 are doing the right thing. B
But atmosphere-wise no game this generation has come anywhere close to Super Metroid.
You Got Fighting, Platforming and a whole buch of Nintendo Stuff

The first transition level in A Boy and His Blob was amazing. Where it's all black except for the stars and the moon in the background. Looked so amazing.
And Cosmic Cove in SMG2. When you come out of the dank, dark water, and there's a brilliant sunset in the background.
muramasa and corruption are the top of my list for art direction, but muramasa might have the edge since it's art was good enough to make an admittedly mediocre game amazing. other m is by far the best as far as technical graphics are concerned, though.
sin and punishment 2 has a very different style that's great... everything's flying by so fast that none of it is really meant to look at, so nothing's too finely detailed, but the overall look of it in motion is great. it's the only game i can think of where you take more if it in through your peripheral vision than the spot you're focusing on.
MKWii had some really amazing backgrounds and atmospheres.
Also, The Conduit had a great atmosphere. I remember being up near the first conduit in the game, and I could hear the drones screaming. I also have heard soldiers yelling to eachother to "Come here!"
Looking forward to The Conduit 2 and CoD: Black Ops for DS For really cool avatars for a forum, go here! http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Callsigns/Emblems
So ends a saga older than time itself. The World's oldest and fiercest army has been led to victory, and a lost generation is delivered from its fear of extinction. As the sun sets over the field of conflict the dinosaurs disperse, hoping never to set foot in this place a...
