Why doesn't Nintendo do us a favor and pre-announce titles? It could save us a lot of trouble speculating about future releases, and then whining about boring releases and "when will they release X?".

Who knows. What I want to know is the release dates for some more games coming out next month! Games like Sonic Classic Collection are arriving very soon and yet we know next to nothing about them. Same goes with Nintendo's large list of new releases set for "this year."

E3 this year will be very big indeed.

There's actually less whining because each week has the potential to have a good release. If you're disappointed one week then its only seven days away to find out what comes next. Whereas if they do it monthly like Japan does and you're disappointed, its 30 days before you find out what comes next. And we would still speculate what would come the following month.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

If they announce release dates, some people may hold off on picking up something on a whim to save those points for the game they released. This way people may get tired of waiting and download say, Y's Book 1 and 2, while they wait and then buy more points for when say, Cave Story comes out. Obviously not everyone will do that, but if even 1/5 of the people who want a certain game do that it adds up to some big bucks for the companies.

I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.

I just buy points and purchase whatever I can find within the weeks that I have said points. Now retail game release dates are a different story... (since they are much more expensive)

I think Nintendo don't announce upcoming release because frankly some weren't that popular back in the day. Also if a release was announced and wasn't so good then many people (perhaps, me included) wouldn't bother checking out the channel if they knew a crap game was coming on a Friday. I know many a time I've expectantly gone onto the Wii shop channel and found nothing worth downloading, only to buy some long released game instead in my dissapointment. It should make good business sense for Nintendo to only announce popular anticipated titles in advance. I'd love to know when Super Mario Kart is coming in the EU, so I understand some people's frustration.
