Like I already stated, I'm not answering anything. I said what I needed to said, and no one's going to change my mind, so if you would all stop addressing me, we'd be fine.
Honestly, I do feel a little hurt. Because I don't enjoy Majora's Mask, I'm not good at video games? Really? Was that necessary? 'Cause that made my already horrible day, thanks a lot.
You know what, I give up. Sometimes the war isn't worth fighting...
Majora's Mask is awesome. Why anyone would say otherwise is beyond me. He must have to be the biggest ***hole in the world to even suggest that.
Thank you and good night.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
I haven't tried the game, but reading these comments, it brings up an interesting question. If you can play the song of time to give you more time, WTF is there a time limit at all?!?!?
Yes, it gives you double the time, which is enough time if you rush and don't spend much time exploring. Of course, IMO, that completely nulls any reason to play play the game in the first place.
@Pheonix: No need to take it so seriously dude. You did after all, put yourself in the firing line, by pouring hate upon a game that many people consider a masterpiece. You had to expect something in return.
I hope you aren't as offended as you sound, well look, or read even!?

The time limit also plays the role as the clock for the game. Several sidequests rely on this clock to be completed at a certain time.

Well, if you go back in time (back to the first day, always) everything you did will be reset. This means you have to beat a dungeon before you go back in time, or else you do must everything again. You keep key items though.

Yes, I do highly disagree with Phoenix. But, I think that Majora's Mask was just as good as Ocarina of Time. I really didn't mind the time system, at all. It really was cool! Majora's Masks did have less dungeons, but it my opinion, they were better than the Ocarina of Time ones. The snow one was great, but The water temple and the Stone temple were fantastic. They were brilliantly designed, and at the the same puzzling. Also, the person who complained that the cutscenes in Majora's Mask a boring, are not telling the truth. If they're referring to the start menu cutscene, than yes. But, it can easily skipped over with the press of the start button. Also, the story in Ocarina of Time was way too similar to Link to the Past's storyline, and really falls short there. Ocarina of Time: Pros: *More dungeons *Being to transform in to adult link *Actually having Zelda in it *Beautiful and exiting Music *Fun Gameplay *Some awe inspiring moments : O *Cool Boss Battles *Good story *Great Climax *Cool use of the Ocarina
Cons: *Story too similar to Link to The past *2D Levels in certain parts(towns and such) *easy boss battles *Doesn't Feature Zelda Theme
Majora's Mask Pros: *Similar gameplay to the Pervious game (Ocarina, Horse riding, Dungeons, Sword Fighting) *Actually Features Zelda Theme *Once again, Great Musical Score *Darker and More Original story *More well designed Dungeons *Still great gameplay *The Happy Mask Saleman is cooler than before(though creepy) *The characters feel more "alive" *Mask Transformations And... Dancing Zombies!
Cons: *Doesn't Feature Princess Zelda *One Boss Battle is Hard and Unfair *Having to recollect Hearts and Bombs, by cutting grass(every time you go back in time)
I've never had a problem with the time limit, as i go back in time right before a dungeon. And i always seem to be able to learn different things about the game and people in it by talking to them at different times.
Am I referring to the 3rd, water temple boss. It can take you out in about 3 or 4 hits. It's the first boss I've ever had to use the health potion for. Also, thanks lz2009, for pointing out that Ocarina of Time is similar to Link to the Past.

Probably referring to Gyorg, what a nightmare he was. >_> Only thing I hate about Majora's Mask is that stupid moon, it creeps me out. XD (...and Gyorg)

That wasn't the only thing that creeped you out, right?

The Happy Mask salesman, ummm...the zombiefied dad (I forget the name, its the place near Stone Tower), Majora's final form...there's probably others, but the moon creeps me out the most. XD

You're thinking of Ikana Valley. Yeah, that place in general creeped me out in general. Just look at the floating blocks in the Stone Tower. And the Goron and Zora statues. And this is why I liked the game: it has such a dark theme to it.

Ironically enough, Majora's Mask was actually my first Zelda game, and I loved it so much as a kid. When I finally got it years later, I was so happy to play it again...only to realize that it sucked hard. Man, I really was a stupid kid.
I'm not a huge fan of the time element, you can pretty easily completely miss side quests if you don't use a guide, just because you don't talk to the right person in the correct 2 hour window or whatever. It's sort of a pain for me b/c I like to get 100% in Zelda games. I really liked the masks and the overall atmosphere. Especially liked how the NPCs had some personality. It would be cool to see a lot of those elements again in a zelda game!
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
