That was awesome! I got this game yesterday and just got the first challenge, the one from the onii king. I hated that frog near the start of the game though...killed 4 of my men...2 grunts and 2 farmers were killed. I didn't expect the fight and only came with 6, not the full 8 I could have had...

God I hated that frog, and was nervous every time I forged new ground by the water's edge. I could handle losing people in battle, but seeing my dudes get squished or swallowed hole...
Oh, I have both the pictures you are talking about now. There is a really shotty picture of the king, the one beside it is Picasso-like. It has four squares with a picture of the king in each.

I don't believe it! So Little King's Story has a Teen rating 'over there' right. It's a 7+ here, wow!
All I've seen so far is some extremely corny, mildly suggestive innuendo regarding the princesses in some of the things the citizens will say when you talk to them. It's possible they either don't care about corny innuendo in the UK ***or*** the localization team for Europe just substituted something else entirely when they translated the game.
It does have a T rateing ESRB can be pretty prudy sometimes and most of the time devopers will "tone down" a game to a E rateing (ex: Shadow the hedghog) but I'm game they dident, it's an awsome game the way it is
I've had it about a week now,not been on it as much as I hoped but what I have played so far has been fantastic.I'm now just getting to grips with the battles now that I have a variety of classes and the different formations.I feel like my Kingdom is already huge but that I've barely scratched the surface of this game yet! After the disappointment of not having pointer controls I'm now actually glad it doesn't although I have to re-adjust every time I've been playing another game LOL. Having skeptically read other peoples comments about getting attached to certain villagers I'm now starting to see what they mean especially as I have just discovered you can equip them with stuff v.cool.(by the way if a villager dies while equipped with something do you lose that too ,ta.) All in all thanks to the people on here who promoted this game (they know who they are ) as I probably would have over looked this gem.
@Luigi78: No, you'll get the item back, ready to give to the next warrior worthy of it's use. That was one of my favourite parts, making sure all my dudes had the best possible weapons/items.
Glad you like it. I'm sure I could find a negative response if I searched the net looking for one, but I haven't seen anyone here complaining, awesome! I hope this game has legs and gets the sales it deserves, and of course... a sequel.
@clicketyclick It's worth it.honestly it's just great ,a real mix of genres with some sumptuous music and art direction with a slightly dark heart. I'm lovin it and a game hasn't made me smile as much as this one in a very long time .Nintendo has some competition as the best Wii developer.

Ok ok Mach- ... I mean Luigi. I'm just annoyed that they haven't bothered to stock us. I mean, how the hell do they expect great sales in North America if they don't put copies on sale in Canada? I don't want to have to pay shipping and duty taxes to import from the US. **pouts**
