Topic: Who got Little King Story?

I really need to pick it up again; I've sort of made a deal with myself not to get Anno until I've finished this, but easier stuff to complete like Bomberman '94 and Pengo are beckoning...

I recently beat both Pimetime and Worrywart kingdoms. TV dinnah wasn't hard at all. King Omlet was freaking confusing though. TV was a really cool boss (those penalties were so awesome; except the baby one, I lost 14 men to two of those.)

Well I did play it again Sunday evening and defeated the mushroom guy. I've blown most of the money I was saving for the market area building up the new Royal City -- thankfully I have a load of quests lined up to earn some more dosh!

This game is so fun! I've beaten it once, but now I'm trying to play through on Tyrant mode. Ugh. What a pain. I've just beaten the Onii King.

What are the differences in Tyrant Mode? Just more difficult enemies?

Well, yeah. I think the enemies have more health. Not sure how much on Tyrant mode, but I read somewhere: Easy = 50% health, Normal = 100% health, Hard = 150% health. So, I'm not sure how much they would have on Tyrant mode. I would assume either 150% or 200%.

Another difference is that every single person in your kingdom, including the King, starts out with one health. Wow. That makes things insanely difficult. There is absolutely no way to upgrade the King, but the people can have their health upgraded. Also, when you play Tyrant mode, be sure to talk to Pancho...

That sounds mental! ONE health for the King?! I dread to think how tough it would be playing King Shishkebaboo or some of the other kings...

I temporarily boosted my review score to a 10/10 the other day, then realised it would affect its metacritic rating, so put it back down to 9. It's basically a 9.9 though

Yeah, it's pretty insane, but it's kinda fun, too. I've developed a whole different strategy to playing thanks to Tyrant mode. It still kicks my butt, though. I was lucky to beat the Onii King.

I got Little King Story but I haven't opened it yet.
