Space Invaders is short - even with the DLC. It's not bad by any means though - Bahamut+ZERO probably just doesn't like that style of game. The worst bit was completing it and thinking "What no ending?"
I can respect him not liking it, but I still don't regard it as short; I've not even played all the levels yet (I have yet to beat the level 4 boss). No ending does suck -- is there even a credits roll?
Sadly no - the game just seemed to drop straight back to the mission select screen after the final boss. I agree it's a great game and the boss battles are awesome (the Cyclops and UFO being my favourites) but it does feel a bit cheap when it all comes to nothing.
as much as i love world of goo. it IS way over-rated. It's good but i dont understand why people say: "AMAZING, INNOVATIVE, BEST GAME EVER" or "SO GOOD I COULD CRY"
Heisenberg says "relax!"

@calculon: Yes, it is. The only FPS series that is worth anything to me, is Metroid Prime and that's because it's not just running around shooting things. I was going to buy Onslaught because it seemed to be less of a FPS and more of an arcade score based game. The people here convinced me I was wrong, and further proved to me how FPS obsessed the gaming world is. And because of those reasons, I chose not to support Hudson's creation.

Obviously Onslaught isn't for you then, it's nice since it's an FPS that's ONLY about shooting stuff (as opposed to the stealth, cover and epic story bullshit in many other FPSes) but if that's not what you want it's not going to be fun.
World of Goo, it's just another puzzle game with pretty art. Whooptie do. You'd get a prettier and more fun game, in my opinion, from Lost Winds (desite it's short play time, it'll give you enough time to appreciate the environment and setting). Onslaught, despite me liking it, it's 1000 points of generic shoot-em-up with a stupid story, stupid online (you can't communicate in a co-op game, what the hell?) and a very dull tone. Although, the arcade, campy feel along with the controls makes me want to back to play some more. We'll see.
Mega Man 9. Annoyingly difficult as it only caters to the fans of the series, which I obviously am not. I'd rather spend the 1000 points on Onslaught.
Bit Trip: Beat. Like Mega Man 9, it's difficult to the point of being obnoxious. It doesn't help that the background clashes terribly with what I'm trying to see. The only time I can actually play the game is when I'm losing, and by then I've lost interest in the game anyway.
I never saw any appeal in Onslaught. After watching the gameplay videos for it, most people should have been turned off. Megaman 9 was certainly over hyped too.
To me its Bomberman Blast, online is broken, no proper single player and I just found it totally boring, there are much better versions of Bomberman available some on VC, also Lostwinds is way overrated IMO, I mean I thought it was an ok game but I just didn't get all the praise, the sequel looks better though
I really like World of Goo, but it is a tad overrated becuase it is very annoying having to start a level over because you made a small mistake in the beginning.

Hopefully I didn't go too overboard.
Holy crap dude, you just listed my three favorite games on WiiWare!
For overrated, I'd say Onslaught is the only one I've played that really falls into that category. It's a serviceable, no-frills bugblaster that does what it does very well...but doesn't really do much at all. I'd rate it about a 5 or so. It strikes out in precisely zero unique directions, but it's not a bad experience. I don't think there's anything that makes it stand out apart from the overall dearth of FPS's on WiiWare.
Everything else is pretty reasonable. By no means would I rate Bomberman Blast as high as a lot of people do, but I at least understand why they would. Haven't played Niki, one of the other "hot button" titles listed here, and I probably won't. Why spend money on it now when I'll get to play it for free in Hell?
people dislike games 'cause they are hard? i mean... BIT.TRIP and MM9 are hard, but not unfair. That IS what makes a good game for me. I really dislike the fact that games seem to get easier with every generation. I think that BIT.TRIP CORE is already to easy. whatevery, it's just my opinion.
Wow, I'm not the only one who's uninterested in this goo business. That's surprising. I played the demo, and my impressions were, "Pretty graphics, decent music, and another puzzle game."
Chapter one is uninspired and repetitive compared to the rest of the game. Multiplayer and pointer controls (WiiWare version-exclusive) also greatly enhance the experience. That said, this is not a game with a lot of replay value.
