Topic: What free NES game will you get?

It's a toss up between:

• Super Mario Bros.
• Super Mario Bros. 2
• Mega Man 2
• Ninja Gaiden

Punch out, kirby's adventure or gradius..I am not sure..at least I have more than a month to think about it ^^

This is INCREDIBLY unfair. I dont want a NES game! i want my points back and the new internet cant play BBC iplayer like the old one!! I am so angry!

i'm so stoked nintendo is doing this. i'm gonna get either castlevania III or double dragon... im so excited! i wish they let us get up on some of the other 500 point games... i kinda got up on all the nes games i wanted a long time ago but whatever. thank you nintendo!

Here's an idea: If you want an SMS or C64 game instead, maybe you can gift your free NES game to someone else and have them gift you the game you want in return. Assuming that Nintendo lets you gift your free game, of course.

Are you people for real? Seriously?

No, YOU chose to pay 500 points for something you apparantly ended up not enjoying from a service that has always stated perfrectly clear that it does not accept returns or refunds.

If I had bought item x in a shop, would I accept that they contacted me a year later and gave me a list of items, telling me to choose one they'd give me for free? Uh, yes, of course I would.

Zelda II or StarTropics

I would have preferred a 500 point refund instead, but I will definately not complain about a free NES game. I am just glad they are reimbursing us in the first place. I think this was a smart thing for Nintendo to do( though I do agree that they could have been even smarter).

Uh, people, you don't get to choose! You will get one specific NES game for the VC, which will be released at the end of October. That's what's the official Nintendo site says here in Germany. You can't choose, which game you want to download, you will just get one specific game for free, chosen by Nintendo and which wasn't released so far. So no SMB or Zelda or whatever.

That's because I've had my Internet Channel for free way back when I got my Wii in 2006! I've never had to pay a lousey 500 Points for the stinking Internet Channel; or when updating it back then; or today!

Why give a free 500 point NES game anyway; all of you guys will have to wait until October anyway! And it just STINKS for those who didn't have to pay 500 points for the stinking Internet Channel! I'm in that boat & I'm majorly saddned by this!

Why can't Nintendo just offer Nintendo Points on Club Nintendo in NA anyways; it'll make our world a much better place! SIGH!!!

Somehow I think it has already; for some people who don't get the free NES game offer are POed as it is... like me for example!

The NES game isn't free. You still paid the 500 points before.
