Is there an upper limit to the number of games you can save on Showcase? If so, what is it? I'm loving the DS game, but my fear is that over time I will run out of space to put more games! Also, does the game allow you to shuffle the games you've saved on it so that they come up in random order?
I plan to get this either way in a couple weeks once I have created some games to showcase to my family, but I just wanted to know exactly what I will be purchasing.
Moco Loco If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.

The DS has 5 sections of 18 games and WiiWare 4 sections of 18. So I think DS has 90 slots and WiiWare 72.
Not bad, but a little limited nonetheless. I would actually pay for additional storage as DLC once I got to that point. I wonder if anyone at Nintendo has thought of that.

@iphys: Thanks. That's actually enough. Right now I've only got about six games in one save section on my DS game and even that small number was pretty fun to play. Line Slash was solely responsible for me not getting a higher score than I did! That is some tricky timing!!

Yes, you can play the games from each of the 4 save sections in random order (but not from all 4 sections simultaneously).
I thought there were 2 blenders at the bottom of the DIY section. The left one is the mix of all of them. The right one is the same, but at ultra-speed.
1: Are the downloadable games the same as the ones on the DS? The NinSoft store games are the same from what I have been told. This however has 72 unique games not in the DS game that you can transfer to it.
2: Is the Balloon Fight game 4 players? I have not seen anything other than one player and automatic modes.
3: Can you make levels for the balloon fight game and/or can you use songs you created on DIY in the balloon fight game? If you have the DS game then yes you can import your music and use it for the balloon fight game.

Not evil, but if Nintendo is against it, which they are, then it's not a good or a nice thing at all.
So ends a saga older than time itself. The World's oldest and fiercest army has been led to victory, and a lost generation is delivered from its fear of extinction. As the sun sets over the field of conflict the dinosaurs disperse, hoping never to set foot in this place a...
Unlocking the 4p is the final unlock in the game, but I really don't remember any Balloon Fighter game in this, and if you're talking about making levels that would have to happen on the DS version of the game.

When you play a record in Showcase you can choose between "Listen" and "Play". Choosing listen plays the song like normal, but choosing play makes you play a balloon fight game where you control a balloon fighter collecting all the music notes to achieve a high score.
The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.
So the games that come preload on this are differant from the ones on the ds one? Also..Is there any reason to have both of these games other than the differant games? In other words is there somethin that you can do on this game that you can't on the ds one?
I got a chance to play Showcase and I'll be able to answer some questions. (I still don't have the DS one... slow shipping!)
As for things only included in the Showcase, other than the new microgames, the 4 player mutiplayer mode would be the only one that I can think of. Another plus is the fact that you can download any of the new microgames to your DS and dissect them.
Multiplayer is split screen, one small monitor for each player. Sometimes one player will have to complete a game, other times all players are given the game at the same time. There are also instances in which all players will play a game on a single large monitor. A person who loses four games loses.
Anybody been getting those "Big Name Games"? They're really interesting.
