Why are games like Golden Axe so much more on VC than they are on XBOX arcade? EDIT: Do they think we're suckers or something? Is it a "casual" vs "Hardcore" thing? Like they think casual gamers(as if that were all wiigamers were) won't know what's going on, but the 360 Gamers are (More Hardcore supposedly?) and therefore more informed on things so they don't price as high? Maybe it's just some deal with microsoft?
I think XBOX Live Arcade's pricing is a little different than the VC's. It's like $1.25 per 100 points, while the VC is $1.00 per 100 points, so that's why it's lower, I think. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
If my calculations are correct then, that would make XBLA Golden Axe about 600 Wii points. I have no clue why, I guess Nintendo's full of a bunch of cheapo's.

@Cheetahman: at MY calcalations, it's about 500 wiipnts. I just looked at some of their classic arcade games and everyone (that i looked at) was cheaper that it was or would be here, if i remember right. one gamebthat would probably have been higher there was Banjoo Kazooi(however it's spelled) at 1200pts. Which is about equal to 1500 wiipnts.
Of course Xbox owners also get the privilege of paying for the network connection so they can pay for more content -- I've never understood that logic...

Although would you say you wouldn't be willing to pay to get something beyond the horrible Wii online gaming experience? Not saying I'm happy paying for XBLA, just a question.

Online is nice, but it's not essential for me. If you want to charge me to play games online, I might bite, but charging me to be able to simply access a shop to buy more content seems really really wrong. If I don't want to do online gaming, but buy DLC or other content like movies or games why should I have to pay just to get to the shop?
Ah well, that's okay then. I thought you had to play just to get your Xbox online and use the lobby and all that. I suppose I would pay for online play provided the experience was solid and there was some compelling games.
