Topic: TVC Help

I just picked up TVC which I had beenn anticipating for several months now, and immediately tackled the arcade mode. I was using my Classic Controller as many consider it the best controller to play the game with. When I started I immediately pulled up the move list so I wouldn't Then I came across a problem. None of the characters special moves would register correctly, and because of that I'm more frustrated than ever. I'm fighting the final boss right now and I must be on my... 20'th try by now. Whenever I try to use their hyper combo they pull off something completely different. Even pulling off regular special moves doesn't work as often as it should. I know the moves should be working as my hyper meter is entirely full whenever I attempt the moves. It doesn't come from inexperience in the fighting genre either, as I've played Soulcalibers 1 and 2 before and became very good at them. Fighting games should be about precision fighting, but even something as simple as switching characters doesn't always work. I'm going to go read the instructions some more now, hopefully something there may help.

I wouldn't trust the in-game instructions because they always confuse me. You should go into Training Mode and use your instruction booklets move set.

For the final boss, you can generally manage by just blocking and punching him hard between each attack. He's completely different from normal opponents, so you can't really do anything fancy, and he's immune to a lot of specials.

Thanks a lot guys, the games isn't nearly as frustrating anymore. Though executing any special move still doesn't work as often as it should.

i feel you , thats why im getting the wii stick pro , i aint messing around anymore , ive had close matches where i was tryna finish em and the special didnt work , and im using a gamecube controller wow
