I was there, but my Wii can't connect with any friend over seas nor join any friend on a worldwide race. Why are these problems so specific?
Other than those, online works perfectly fine

Geez, today worldwide was awful, it really remembered me why I actually don't like MKWii, 6 stupid Funkys on a bike eww, and there were a couple of cheaters, seriously, don't they know that winning isn't everything?, specially when you cheat.
I got in a really bad mood grrr, I calmed down a little in the private room though, thanks for that one Machu.

Your problem is so weird, it's a shame, you should try another internet connection, maybe at a friend's house and see if it is that.
