Don't worry, eripmav. IGN shouldn't be taken seriously with their WiiWare reviews. Just look at their reviews for other WiiWare games just this year. Much of the writing find within their reviews leaves much to be desired especially due to the fact that many of their reviews are inaccurate and they don't give proper credit where it's due and other inconsistencies.

It's nice to know that readers of their pages feel somewhat underwhelmed by their reviews, not just us PR folk!

I have stopped reading the IGN reviews as well; NL usually beats them to it, so why bother? Their previews, very occasional video exclusives and some news items are my only draw. Many days I click the link look at the page and don't read anything!

I think the problem with IGN, is that the reviewers don't really have that same admiration for Nintendo like the people from this site. I think it feels like they aren't really Nintendo fans, they just work at the site, and got stuck on the Nintendo team. I must admit, that I still listen to the IGN Nintendo podcast(i just love podcasts in general), and it was odd to hear Mark Bozon say something about the fact that he doesn't actually own a Wii, he just plays it at the office. So I guess that just makes me think that it's just work to them, and not something they truly love. But eh, whatever, I am just glad I have a site like this to come to for reviews I can trust.

A few more reviews should be rolling in soon, we will get a chart position in the US!

Even if it's just the 20th spot, that would be a big milestone.

Yeah I couldn't really find much info on the net, and I strolled across a video by a user named Link6694 on Youtube. I saw Eripmav posted on the video, so its cool to actually see people outside of Nintendo Life that are loving the game, I think that was my deciding factor in downloading the title.

Not to burst your bubble, Sensei of Suburbia, but Link6694 does hang around here. And he's worth subscribing to; his reviews are fun.

Ah, I didn't realized he posted here brain-fart. Yeah I subbed to him, because it was nice to actually see some one who reviews a wide variety of titles.

Thing is with the WiiWare charts, you'd be surprised as to how many you need to sell to gain a chart position in the EU, it's not actually "that" many. Not sure about the US though...

Bet it's a bit easier to do in the Canadian charts.

I couldn't comment on that tbh, I don't know the installed userbase of CA:)

Link6694

Yeah, I do post here.
We try to review lots of games but Chicken Brutus's review was really good as well!

Hope 3M gets into the Top 20!
Now onto more reviews!

Wii would like to review! :P

KnucklesSonic8

Well if it ever shows up in the Canadian charts, I'll let you know. In fact, I wonder if it's been there weeks before. I haven't checked.

KnucklesSonic8

eripmav

No, it's not been there yet afaik. Hopefully more reviews will spur on sales:) Could you enlighten me as to the bigger gaming websites based in Canada?

eripmav

KnucklesSonic8

Well I'm Canadian and I work with Wiiloveit. Not too many gaming websites are Canadian-based honestly which is a shame. Or if they are, they're not big sites. Most are U.S.-focused/based as you probably already know. Maybe there are some sites I frequent that are secretly based in Canada so I can't say for sure. I'll try to look into it for you.

edit:
There's Yahoo Canada. They have a sub-site that focuses on gaming.
