Topic: The Conduit or Bust!

Yar the story be there I'll give it that. I listened t'all the radio stations (whatever them be), and got 3/4 of the hidden messages (treasure?!) and noticed all the pictures in the weapon cache's (full o gunpowder n such). But it be about conspiracy theories, i have no flippin' interest in conspiracies i tells ya, especially when alien attack-forces are involved (me pirate bones are strugglin' here, arg). So for me, thar be no story, changin' me parrot's cage be more interesting. Yar!

The single player was fun. It was short. I've read this kind of story before. Just how many times can you do this story though.

I tried the multiplayer a few times. But with these players bouncing up and down like kangaroos I had no chance. I never cared for multiplayer player vs player. It's just boring. However, I enjoy co-op play. Imagine Fallout 3 with co-op play? Now that would be fun.

It's now gathering dust. No replay value at all.

I still play it every now and then. =) Actually, I just played an online match about a day or two ago.

Overhyped, yes. But still a pretty good FPS on the Wii IMO.

Nah... The lag (or perhaps bug/bad game design) during online play that makes enemies die seconds after being shoot is just killing me... COD is where it's at! In World at War, single player sucks. But so far I've loved the online multi player for more than 88 hours, and I'm planning for at least 88 more! The class system is just great. Oh how I love customizing my different classes and then choose one per situation..! WHAT does The Conduit have that makes it more worthwhile than COD: World at War for Wii, which you can find for a bargain price and have tons of fun with?! WHAT..? Okay, I'm just upset because I don't like Conduit Online MP...

We should probably come up with a date and time when someone will be on. Friday at 7:00 for example, or something. Then, we can have a desginated host, so that we can look for that room and then all play. Y'know, after we all register each other. =)

Recently got the game online for about $12. The singleplayer is decent, at least the first half which I haev already traversed through. Haven't tried online yet but hope to do so this weekend and that its better than Brawl's or Onslaught's...

the conduit is a good game. the developers worked hard then got lazy. the beta scrrens looked impresive but then it looked uglier and uglier everytime. the multiplayer was fun, until hackers showed up and spoiled the fun. single player was good but too short. id give it a try. its real cheap now and prob only worth 15 bucks. i got mine for 50 when it came out, stupid me!

Not a huge fan of FPS's but I really enjoyed The Conduit, single-player was a labour of love but I bought it mainly for only play. I'm a UK gamer and have only had 1 encounter with a hacker, there always seems to be people online (not played since the release of Reflex so I'll see if that effects things), gameplay is simple but fun (think FPS for dummies hehe). Recommend it to anyone for a budget price just don't expect too much and you'll be happy. The Conduit. GOOD.SIMPLE.FUN!

LOL. Just read my previous post, and got very confused... then I realised it was on National Talk Like a Pirate day.

My opinion hasn't changed. I wanted to love The Conduit, but it wouldn't let me.

It was kind of a chore to play through the single player levels, and the online didn't have the stability or variety i was looking for. World at War, Reflex, and MOH: Heroes 2 are all better online. I did like how you could customize your model's colors, some of the guns, and the shiny graphic elements. I agree that the story was stupid. I'm so tired of video game protagonists that are just gruff skeptical dudes.
