Hahaha... really? So what is this going to be the best FPS of this generation now? Say this is exclusive to Wii then port it over to PS3/360 a year after they announce it and give up all our hopes?
Get real HVS.

I agree. While the first game was a nice "Proof of Concept" for showing off the Wii's graphics and that a GOOD FPS could actually be on the Wii, it was really quite classic (if people know what I'm talking about) and bland. A better sequel would be much appreciated.

I don't know why so many people hate on the conduit while bland "realistic" war style fps games are praised as amazing. The conduit isn't anything mind blowing but it is a very solid fps with a lot of nice control options. The graphics are among the best on the wii and online is great unless you get that horrible online bug. I think its quite good its just that people expected a bit too much kinda like when the first red steel came out.
Actually, maybe that horrible multiplayer but might be the reason for the conduit hate. Its a terrible problem to have spawning all weird and then basically having to hard reset your wii.
the conduit gets hated on because it tries to be one of those bland shooting games, but can't pull it off. the shooters on HD systems may not be very inspired, but they at least seem to function well enough to play if you like that sort of thing; i don't think the conduit wound up good for anything.
high voltage tried so hard to make it look like an HD shooter and still wound up with something that just "looks good for the wii". what's worse is that that fancy engine likely distracted them from focusing on the things that would have actually made the game fun; the environments for example are just terrible. gray hallways and sewer tunnels repeating for hours on end; what was that fancy engine made for? who cares how technically advanced the graphics are when there's nothing there to look at? the last time i tried to play the mission mode i had to quit from boredom, and i mean had to. even the most mundane settings of perfect dark and metroid corruption, it's two biggest inspirations, are miles ahead of what the very best the conduit has to offer.
the online is fun enough to save the game when it works, but it is probably by a good margin the worst online component ever allowed to reach shelves. multiplayer is admittedly fun once you've gotten your controls set up, but not fun enough to sit there for an hour rebooting your wii until you finally (or never) get into a match. if the game had cost about $15 on wiiware i could forgive it, but when you blow $50 on a short retail game that fails to even have one appealing and functioning feature, you've been ripped off.
that's why people knock the game left and right. the controls are the only thing they got right, and those were taken from corruption.
Because The Conduit came out when people owning a wii really wanted a FPS i think they made a game that wasnt its full potenial,im hoping this tim3 around we get a better game, which i think we will. But most of all i wouldn't mind an Halo type online experience, things to fly and driveeven jet skies with, maybe a antigravity genade that makes people float so you can pick people off online.
The conduit online is really glitchy and a rush job. They need to make this game wii priority over ps3 dispite poor sales so they really need to pull there fingers out of their....
They could've easily fixed the cheating online and the glitch online. All they had to do was patch the game and....Oh wait a minute, I forgot only Nintendo can patch their games and rarely and ban any company from patching their games on the System.... Not that the Wii really supports patching properly anyways.

The Conduit was a great game, up until halfway through when they started to run out of ideas and just threw you into rooms with lots of baddies. Combine that with the Halo 'recharge system' and it became dull quickly (for me). Shoot, hide, shoot, hide, yawn. I hate Halo for introducing that system (whats wrong with funking healthpacks), and I disliked The Conduit for following suit. Also, I would still own the game had I not spawned in the wall/floor 2 dozen times, taking ten minutes for every attempt before you had to reboot and try again. Playing online shouldn't be a lottery.
They have a lot to improve on, but I would welcome a sequel as it was only basic (but important) things they got wrong. If HVS can fix it, I'll definitely be up for more.
If it's a top down shooter though, they can **** off!
So ends a saga older than time itself. The World's oldest and fiercest army has been led to victory, and a lost generation is delivered from its fear of extinction. As the sun sets over the field of conflict the dinosaurs disperse, hoping never to set foot in this place a...

They don't though, Treyarch patched Modern Warfare: Reflex. Most likely the developer has to plan ahead for it and it's included in the save for the game but it's readily available to the developers, same as DLC.

Awesome. The first game obviously had a lot of issues (so I didn't buy it), but I'd love to see them revisit the game and fix the online bugs and glitches. Very good news indeed.
I hope they make things more exciting for the single player. I bought the first game not too long ago and I was bored by the time I reached Mission 4. Haven't gone back to it for awhile now, I probably should
EDIT: Is there a photo of this poster anywhere online yet?
All i know is that a guy at GDC ask to take a picture and he got refused.

Yeah, while the online did suffer, I liked how they streamlined the friend code system and made hella easy to use Wii Speak. If they can improve the game's overall design and online glitches, Conduit 2 has the potential to be quite enjoyable. I hope it remains Wii exclusive and (if good) sells more than the original. Unfortunately, even by some miracle that Conduit even rivals say, MW2, I doubt it'll even sell as much as the original. 70,000 copies place your bets.
