Yes. I'm remaining a bit skeptical for now, though... I'm at the end of World 2. I absolutely love the 2D sections, but the 3D sections feel too much like the first game. IE, Mario controls like a truck and there are too many little planets. This is really making me want to play through NSMBWii again, lol.
The thing I hate the most in both these games is when it goes to a top-down view. You completely lose your sense of height and jumping on enemies becomes a pain. I'm dying for Nintendo to make a new 3D Mario that is designed and plays more like the 2D ones.
I've got maybe 30 stars. I talk about video games a lot more than I actually find time to play them.
I stretched the first Galaxy game over a year, just playing a couple of levels here and there, savoring it. Compared to that, I'm actually going pretty fast here.
anybody feel that the fireballs don't respond? I keep loosing to the sand boss because of it.
Can't agree on that one. I haven't had any problems with the responsiveness--in fact I found the sand boss to be insultingly easy. Maybe your controller is dying or something? I don't know...

Yikes! Been really busy this week! I'm still at 109 stars. But school may as well end after this Thursday (it doesn't end until next week but in terms of work it'll be over then), so I'll have more chances to play it. Still amazing.

Just got to the big 120! That's the first time I have ever gotten all of the main stars in a Mario game. (sunshine is a great game, but trust me, you DONT want to get the remaining 40 stars once you beat the game) MILD SPOILERS Boss blitz galaxy was awesome, but you can tell they were really lazy making it, all they did was copy-paste the bosses from the old game. The rock tree boss and i dont get along well...
Are they green stars in new areas of galaxies? or in areas youve already seen?
